Importing Music Question...

ok, i'm starting to import some music on my ps3. i figured out i can sort it by artist. but then when you go in the artist folder it just lists all the songs in one big list. is there a way sort it by artist then put the albums in folders under the artist, too?

Press square till u can sort it by album. Then u have album folders that house all the relevant artists tracks inside it.

Then its just a matter of renaming so the correct tracks are in the correct folders.

yea i figured that out. i was just hoping you could have a folder in a folder, but i guess not.

I get what u mean so u can have all of one artists albums in one folder. Not an option at this time. Food for thought when Sony issue their market research at Leipzig tho.

yea. i remember that was a issue with the PSP too. prolly still is, but i haven't touched my PSP in months.

I named the albums to their respective artists so I can sort by artist.

If you want to do that, press triangle on a song, then information and edit the album caption to the band/singer's name.

thanks for the tip. i'm just gonna deal with it. it's not terribly important. maybe they will fix it in 2.41!!!
