News for the upcoming PS3 Game Genie this July

Eh, not too big of a deal. Cheat devices were always a fun and cool thing to have back in the day, made games have even longer replay value because you could do things that you can't normally do.

I think that trophies should be entirely blocked, though, since the nature of trophies is about earning them, not paying to earn them. But if they are going to do this and allow the significance of trophies to drop even further, why not just go ahead and offer a 'trophy pass' on the PS Store that unlocks every trophy for any game for a certain price?

The only reason I was interested in this was the promise of sharing saves, i.e., resigning them, but apparently, the PC program needs an Internet connection to run. That's like DRM used to get rid of the DRM in PS3 saves.

Never owned this or gameshark or any other such device growing up, but I'd always heard they increased replayability. Didn't think there'd be a market for it these days, though if anything I'd want it to unlock online trophies, seeing as in most instances they shouldn't exist to begin with. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds, and unlocking saves is a bonus, never had an issue with a locked save until this gen

i'll wait a few months to see if companys will do shit to block it but if they dont and i wish they dont, ill buy it in one condition, if if it Gives me god mode and infinite everything in GTA IV xD i wish i could free roam without dying from falling and stuff also i hope it works on just cause 2 GOD MODE that would be epic
