DylanVylan
some people think i'm crazy.. some people think my whole group/clan is crazy because we all run 2-3 ps3s while trophy whoring and generally gaming. i myself have 4 tvs in my living room so that i get maximum work done. example: playing MW3 on one system and tv. playing a game for trophies on another ps3 and on another tv. have a movie playing on the third tv. anyone else so hardcore they have set ups that make people go "huh?!?!?" DylanVylan
lol great replys.. no i don't sell drugs. i just spend alot of money on other things.. unless i'm spoiling the gf. lol and i make a good income. as for the question about the 4th tv i thought that might come up... usually i have the news playing on that tv or i have a computer hooked up to it so i can watch news from the internet that keeps cycling through various networks that keep me very up to date with things going on in the world. otherwise.. i have some old school systems hooked up to it when i need a 'breather'. as for playing more games than one at a time.... well like i said.. if i'm playing mw3 i can work on another game becaue in mw3 and other cod games there is alot of time between rounds (in the lobby) so i just unpause the game i'm working on and keep going. pause.. play a round of tdm, rinse and repeat. either way all games have loading screens, skyrim is full of them.. all that time is time for more gaming. by having multiple tvs you don't have to hit any av/input buttons on the remotes to switch systems and games. i have my controllers labeled for each system. as for cloning.. that would be great.. cause then i wouldn't have to go to work and i could just game even more. Ricardo407
the only time I played 2 games at the same time is when I was boosting King of Fighters 12 with a turbo controller on one PS3 and play Mass Effect 3 on my 2nd PS3.
Lil_Mermaid_Girl
I have 2 ps3's with two TVs both in the same room. We originally did this set up because we have a family of gamers and that way we 1. Didn't have to deal with someone "hogging" the TV/PS3 and 2. We can play games together (especially downloadable games, but we also have a few disc based games to play together too where we've bought two of it). I've boosted a few games with myself before with this set up lol. It saves me time because I only have to complete the requirements once for myself, instead of once for myself and once for my boosting partner. I don't watch TV and play games at the same time though. It's too distracting for me. I can't even have music on when I play it drives me crazy. Sanyo
so far I only got 1 PS3, but I have 2 TV screens on top of each other, usually playing PS3 on one and watching anime/ TV on the other. I've been thinking about getting a 2nd PS3, but I wasn't really sure how I would manage several games at a time. Keep the info coming on how you do it and I'll probably get a 2nd one soon. Teach me! DKsDragon
I constantly have my ps3/laptop running, and sometimes pull out my netbook as well. Like the OP said, a lot of games have down time. I play LoL on the laptop and play ps3 between games and whenever I'm dead or just plain bored running to lane (I know, that only takes 30 seconds, I get bored easily xP). When I am legit playing ps3, I keep a tv show or movie running, and I am usually talking to people on skype/msn/texting throughout all of these things. This set up in itself isn't too surprising, what really gets most people is that it is all set up in/beside my bed, and I do all my gaming lying down. Sidetrakkd
I only have one PS3, but there are two TVs in my living room. One is set up in the corner for my older consoles, though (my NES, SNES and N64), and it only ever gets used when I'm playing games with my son. It's not connected to cable or anything like that. Otherwise, I usually have my laptop beside me when I'm playing, and depending on the game/what I'm doing, I'll listen to music (usually some sort of trance or instrumental stuff, just for the background noise), or listen to podcasts. I chat on message boards or read the news/site updates during loading screens. I've considered getting a second PS3, but quite honestly I rarely play games with online components, since I'm not much for multiplayer, so self-boosting has never really come up. Although that is a good idea...
Crazy1 81
Sheesh, didn't realize that going for trophies could result in this kind of multitasking. As long as it doesn't cut down the fun factor more power to you. Only time I can even think of doing anything close to this was when I was waiting about a hour and a half for an EXTREMELY slow moving cloud to move across a level on Braid. All I did then was play sudoku while waiting though.
pacman919
I can play about an hour or two of video games before I get bored and need a break.

Krazy_99
Geez, I only got the one ps3 and I'm lucky to get on that most nights. I think the wife would kill me if I went out and bought a 2nd ps3 and another tv lol

Arturia
I think the question is, how can u have 3 PS3 going at once? assuming they are under the same account that is, otherwise consider my question void
AstroFlibble
The breaks between rounds and on loading screens are there to help stop your wrists and hands from falling apart..! On topic ... I have 2 PS3's - the second used for dead online games and co-ops I can't be bothered to boost - but thats about as hardcore as I get.
THES79
lol, what a nice thread... With all those comments I don't know if this is old school gaming but I still have one console and one TV, something more I think it's too much. Besides, I like to play the game I'm currently on and enjoy it, there's no need to hurry. Anyway, enjoy your games.
TheDearGunther
With your set-up I would probably end up eating someone's face. It's torture and it would drive me mad. I can't even watch a movie on tv and be on my laptop at the same time, because I will have missed out on the entire movie. It's happened a lot lately. One thing at a time is the only thing that works for me. It is obvious, porn. That's what I was thinking:p
