Are Platinum trophies too hard to obtain?

Platinum's are not too hard to obtain, as there are tons of very easy platinum's out there that pretty much anyone could earn.

Certain games plat's might be extremely difficult, but if your lifes mission was to earn a few platinum trophies and you weren't being picky about it, you could knock it out fairly easily.


So to answer the question, no. In general they are not too hard to obtain.

I would say. No but I'm lacking time most of all otherwise it would b easy.
Having to infants kills ur platinum achieving streak.

The difficulty is fine. The kids games are easy plats and generally the mature content ones range from easy to hard.

Me personally? I find the laborious grinding ones (GTA IV) much harder than the short insanely difficult ones (DMC HD).

Patience isn't really my forte.

Depends on the game. More often than not most games are pretty reasonable when it comes to obtaining the Platinum though.

I hate this the most, and it's becoming more common. Especially with EA turning Mass Effect into a multiplayer game, they're probably going to do the same with Dragon Age, and it will require a pass for platinum.

I'm just glad I'm not that big into multiplayer FPS, those guys gouge their customers with $15 map packs and crap.

Vote no. If I really want a platinum, I've got it. If a plat takes more than 50 hours based on the guide, I usually pass on those. My attention span cannot take it. I've have friends that said GOW3 or something else was to hard to get but if I want it I just put the time in. Mass Effect 2 guide said up to 80 hours and it took me 100 but I wanted it so I got it. If you want it, you can get it. Think is really boils down to "do you want it?".
