Little Things That Make You Happy

I figured that it was about time that we had a more positive version of the Little Things That Annoy You thread, sometimes things can get intense over there so why not have a thread on the little things that make smile?

One of mine is when you're able to haggle a discount at a store
Recently, I bought a TV unit for $600 $300, a 200w 2.1 speaker set for $249 $149 and a 46" LCD TV for $1799 $999 Total savings: $2648 worth of stuff for just $1448, saving a total of $1200

I've always been good at haggling, I have my best friend to thank for that (In intermediate school (US equivalent of Junior High?) he traded his Yu-Gi-Oh cards for a PS2 and a few games). He taught me the ways of the force and it has literally paid off

Spending the day with my girlfriend, after having some of the best morning ... and then having a whole day of random ... and then also playing some games on ps3.

Productive weekends ftw!

No probably not, but exactly the reason why I wanted to start this thread. I wanted people to think more positively than some of the things that come up in the other thread

I think if someone gives you a compliment (ex. "You're looking good (clean shave)") that makes you smile/happy inside. I was complimented yesterday on my colour coordination of clothes, and I smiled inside; plus I had just shaved too lol

Seeing my cat first thing in the morning on the end of my bed, he's so awesome that it makes me happy to see him

I don't have a cat or a dog but I have an 18 month old son, and every day I get home from work he runs to the door saying "Dada! Dada!", it doesn't matter how bad my day at work went, that always cheers me up
