PS3 vs. Xbox 360

Hi,

I really would like to start a new thread on a Ps3 vs. Xbox 360 disscussion. and i would really like to talk about the pros and cons and which is better in your oppion. I really want to stop all this fanboy garbage and point out the facts and have everyone come to a logical desicon on which system is better or how they are the same and different. I aslo do not want "Xbox sucks!" or "PS3 rots" you can say that but only if you back it with facts.

BTW mods please close this thread imediatly if it gets cluttered with fanboy junk.

let the disscuion begin....

Xbox has a far better online service and the PS3 has better exclusives for the most part.

however you have to pay for the service. psn may not be as good but its free

I don't think either console is better or worse. I think they're both as good as each other.

I'm honestly convinced that the idea that one is better than the other is all in peoples heads.

here we go again....

ps3 and xbox are the same thing except

PS3-free internet AND internet browser
360-50$ a year to play online and NO internet browser

PS3-Blu Ray
360-High Def

PS3-Not as popular in U.S. as 360 but extremely popular in europe
360-completely raping ps3 even though there almost the same

there....all said and done

But I would much rather have to pay for a far better service than a sub par free online service. Not being able to talk to friends cross game with other people is an instant epic fail for me.

I would say the PS3 has better features Bluray/Wifi included/Rechargeable controller battery/usable internet/Free online/More reliable console. 360 has better online(at a cost) better market place better controller/Netflix. Games was originally hands down to the 360 but now PS3 has caught up so id say its a Draw for games. Now that PS3 price is 299 its the best deal out there. That said i love my 360 as well im glad that i have both.
