RUMOR: Possible Kingdom Hearts HD Remix Collection coming to PS3, PS Vita, and Wii U

It's just rumors and speculation right now, but there's a slight possibility those 5 games up top might be remastered in HD and released on the 3 mentioned systems. I believe that the only reason this rumor holds any water is because in a recent interview with Game Informer Nomura said 2 things of interest:

-"I do have an interest in HD versions, and I'm currently researching them. If it is possible, I would like to do something about the series being spread over many different consoles too. I am thinking about the future."

-"I also feel that it's about time Kingdom Hearts goes back to being on a console."

so, if this is true, it's great news for you skeptics who skipped out on the handheld games, and now would be your chance to play ALL of them (and replay the PS2 ones) on your PS3 or Vita or what-have-you. This way, you won't feel left behind in the story when KHIII finally comes out.

the games to be put on the collection include:

-Kingdom Hearts (PS2)
-Chain of Memories (GBA, there was also a remake for PS2)
-Kingdom Hearts II (PS2)
-358/2 Days (DS)
-Birth By Sleep (PSP)

it looks like Re:Coded (the DS remake of Coded, originally for cell phones, but still an essential part of the story) and Dream, Drop, Distance (3DS) will NOT be included in this, so you still have to have at least a 3DS if you want the WHOLE story. (DS games can be played on 3DS and no, you are NOT forced to play the games in 3D, the 3D feature can be turned off, it still baffles me to no end that some people still don't realize this)

this rumor comes from the same source that rumored Castlevania: Mirror of Fate for the 3DS, and that turned out to be true, so I'm hoping this does too.

Man, I haven't played Kingdom Hearts in years. By the time KHII came out, I had completely lost interest so I'd welcome the chance to play all of them again on my PS3.

Would definitely get this collection if this is true. I played the first one a bit but never really got into them. Always wanted to give it a proper shot though. Maybe this'll give me the opportunity. I wonder how the 358/2 days will work on a single screen? Also I wonder what the price will be as thus far this will be the largest 1 disc collection released.

Ehh i hate rumors, they always get my hopes up and then they crush it, especially Square Enix...but hopefully this is true, or at least just KH1,2 and Chain of memories. But it would be awesome for all five, five guarantedd platinums if you ask me...after all disney games are easy plats.

Square is up to their old shenanigans again. I'd be interested in playing through the series if they released an HD remake, even if they just released the games as PS2 Classics. Trophies or not, this is a series I missed out on and wouldn't mind playing.

I couldnt agree more with you on that ..I did post a cover that was leaked in a asian gamer mag a few months ago in the other kh hd collection thread that I can remember.

Really? 5 titles? Can they HD remake a DS title? I would honestly just expect them to do Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 with perhaps Chain of Memories or Birth By Sleep being added also...

I remember seeing some KH2 copies bundled with Chain of Memories for the PS2, so maybe CoM won't be too bad.
