Large multiarmed monster or a spry and mysterious being that can do everything Link can do. Considering that Link has beat his fair share of multiarmed monsters, Dark Link probably can as well.

Dark Link is one of the greatest bosses ever because of his look, the mood he brings to the scenes he is in, the tactics required to beat him, the rumors that go along with him, etc. He is just such a mystery that it is intriguing to any Zelda fan. Dark Link cuts off all of goros arms and then decapitates him easily

I thought I said nobody let him see that shit!?!? geez louise. I do feel the need to explain my choice a little (and I loooove Zelda):

Goro - The first time I saw this beast come on screen I ran away and hid under by parents bed. I was too scared to get close enough to the super nintendo to turn it off. What if he reached through the screen? He could pull me into Mortal Kombat world AND fight my character AT THE SAME TIME!!!! sheeeeyit.
Dark Link - While a worthy adversary, everytime I see Dark Link I tell myself, "Look at this poser. Why don't you get your own style you wannabe? I shall kick your ass and take your name." Then I proceed to wax that fool. A tough fight, but one I jump into.

It's Goro's intimidation factor that wins it for him....sure...he may be a pretty easy fight once you figure out how to beat him...but I NEVER wanted to figure out how to beat him...'cause that would involve fighting him....and I didn't want to fight him.

I voted for Dark Link too, but I think you're really overrating him here. He's just the Link sprite/model with a black skin. And what tactics? Just stab and slash him until he dies.
