Default Drakengard HD Collection?

Square Enix may be more focused on franchises they know will sell, but just like how I prayed for a re-release of FFX to the PS3, I am also REALLY hoping that they release Drakengard/Drakengard 2 in an HD Collection!

Considering the cult following of Nier, and the obvious success of the soundtrack at least (as I currently listen to the ??? ????????????-echo- 2011.09.14 onsale | SQUARE ENIX as I type this), I would really like to hope and think Square Enix would do this.

Anyone else's thoughts? Or how about thoughts of anyone else who has played and loves Drakengard and it's sequel? Does anyone know if this is even possible since Nier was Cavia's last game, and if Square Enix could publish an HD Collection?

Just to show my love of the game (as well as other reasons for getting it)...

I really thought the games was fun as hell. I don't own it but i really enjoyed it. If an HD collection for it came out, I would surely buy it.

Actually, I can't say I really miss an HD version of these games. I guess I liked them okay, but for me they felt strange and very repetative. I do remember the first Drakengard having an awesome intro song though.

It is isn't it. Just imagine some trophies and HD support to go with that puppy.

As for a Drakengard HD collection too actually be released though, that probably wouldn't ever happen, since the games were not very popular if I remember it correctly?

Repetitive? Yah, there's no denying that. But you did have a chance often to vary it up with different weapons with various magic attacks, and also by calling on your pact dragon on the whim and ANNIHILATE EVERYTHING.

(@0:16 - NOTHING has ever been more satisfying for me in a game!)

As for the strangeness, that was the entire appeal of Drakengard. The further you went into the story, the more the world plunged into absolute chaos. Ever notice how...

The game basically has a cult hit status, much like Nier does. And it's not until you beat the game 100% that things get REALLY insane! Games are about the music and the story, and for me, Drakengard definitely had an awesome due of that! I always thought this trailer summed it up nicely...
