Fury Gold Medal Campaign Elite

Not trophy related, but I found it much harder than the trophy related one in WIPEOUT HD. The hardest part was the last tournament, 8 tracks, with sooooo many ways to die (we can often go out the tracks, and a few of them are not large enough to avoid bombs and other ships: it's hell!)

The Detonator track Corridon 12 on Elite is very difficult too, there are two different roads, but only one bomb, thus sometimes the bomb is on the track you did not choose!

What do you think?

i havn't played fury enugh tbh, but ya the tracks looks more tighter than original, except 1 or 2.

there is only one bronze trophy for getting medal for every cell, so i think its good thing for me

.

I've done the Fury Campaign all on Elite and would agree that it is harder than ECL in some areas, especially Detonator. The tracks can also be quite unforgiving to new players, especially the very narrow and tight-cornered Modesto Heights.

Although it's not trophy related and thus many people will not attempt it, I'd argue that if you can do this, then ECL will be much easier for you.

yes, I already have all the trophies in WIPEOUT HD, and the Elite Gold Medals Campaign should have been trophy related for Fury: the Fury's trophies are far too easy, compared to the main game's trophies.

I agree, I thought it was a waste that you didn't need to get the elite golds, would have made the dlc last so much longer. I guess they decided to go the easy route because of complaints on the main games trophy difficulty.

I found it to be easy, much easier than ECL. Though I did this a few months after getting the platinum so I was way better at the game. Once I got used to the tracks it was a lot of fun too. I agree there should have been a trophy for it, but a gold one. A bronze trophy for a Fury ECL would be one of the harders bronzes ever.

I'm also in the process of attempting this, too. I'm now at Aftermath, having gotten elite golds with most of the lower classes.

I found that I spent less time, and was generally more at ease with the lower classes (events 1-7) that I was with the lower classes in HD.

Aftermath, though, is another story, and I'm having difficulty with the same things I'm having difficulty with in ECL - the single races and tournaments. The zone battles/detonator events are kinda ok. For the races, it's the same old cheating AI coupled with unfamiliar tracks spelling lots of retries.

Overall, worth doing even if there wasn't any trophy for it. While individual bronzes for the 8 events, a silver for Gold Medal FCL, and a gold for Elite Gold Medal FCL would've been nice, I'm also fine with there being no trophies. The satisfaction is in the doing, not the showing.

I did this in my other account, probably going to redo it in this one.
In my opinion, the only EVIL medals are the Detonator Events on Corridon 12 and Tech De Ra Reverse.
The only times in Detonator Mode that i actually had to be accurate and do Chain Bonuses, instead of holding [ ] all the time.
