Final Fantasy 14 to PS3

No. The last game I will buy from SE will be Versus XIII. If they manage to mess up even that, I won't buy shit from them anymore. After how they released a bunch of DLC's for XIII-2 instead of already including them into the game was very annoying. Feel like Capcom.

And FF as an MMO sucks imo.

FF14 has come a long way since its release. But sadly, its way too late. They should never had released it as early as they did. People paid for a beta game.
I already bought it for PC on release, and will not buy it on PS3.

This is what I wanted to see. Personally now I think the game will be at the point where it should of been by the time it is released on the PS3. Since I don't play PC titles and there will probably be a new server and when I buy this on the release day for it I will be able to be one of the server gods. HAHAHA anyway I am glad so many members want to get into this game. I gonna start a Ps3trophies guild on the server once it opens for members who want to platnium and then some. Ps3 needs more MMOs and I so far play them all but once this is out I am all over it even if it sucks or not.

Square Enix made a BIG mistake BUT they acknowledge it and now they work very hard to communicate WITH the community. And not just with the Japanese players but also with the English speaking community. Which is as for now unheard of. Also FFXIV got a lot of updates even community ideas got patched in the game.
FFXIV 2.0 looks very promising im gonna buy it again.

Yeah, this is what I'm afraid of too. Or not really "afraid" since I don't care much for this game at all. But it will most likely run like shit, if they even ever release it for PS3 and not cancel it.

That said, I'll probably still buy it, at least try it out. 2.0 at least looks pretty good, even though I'm not that interested in mmos anymore.

Platinum it will most likely be a pain if it comes to that though.

With the way WKC and DCUO run on PS3, and being that this game is on a much larger scale; I can only see this game running like shit.
If they make a PS4 version or if the PS4 is "BC" to PS3 games, then I will likely give it a try then; however, on PS3, no way.


Side Note about WKC since it's mentioned in my comparison:
Just to make things clear about WKC, I'm not bashing it. I love the game itself. The online play just ran like shit. So if you want to simply play the game and enjoy the story, I'd say just get WKC2 which has both 1 and 2 on it.

I'm not worried about how it will run I think people tend to overreact on that point of FFXIV. It ran fine on my PC and it's not even that great.

I will probably try my PC version again when the PS3 copy comes out, and see if it's any better and if there's a stable community. If there is and it's good I will get it for PS3. If not oh well.

They should of scrapped xiv but kept working on it, then released a PC and PS3 version at the same time titled something else. The stigma of xiv is far too much for this game to overcome I think.

If I did buy XIV it would be for the PC and not for the PS3, even if it had trophies. Some games are just meant to be played on the PC and not ported to console.
