Just might be the best Final Fantasy ever

Well i am a big Final Fantasy fan, have bein for some time. I actaully still play almost all my old titles(namelly X,VII and VIII). But the i must say that square have made there far share of bad games and id even go as far to say that the last Final Fantasy(XII) was one of the worst in the series. It had nothing original in it as almost everything save the story was copied from other FF titles, this was a big disipointment for me as i had such high hopes for it. But when i saw the video for XIII it was like a ray of hope that broke through the clowds. What i saw made me believe that XIII may finally dislodges FFX as the best of the series, fingers cross

X is also my favourite but I think XIII might just have it beat I was also very disapointed with XII didn't really like the battle system.

I thoroughly enjoyed XII. I'm not sure if it really felt like a FF game, but I did enjoy it a lot. VII and X are still my favorites in the series. I've heard VI is amazing but I haven't played all the way through it still . I didn't care for VIII at all.

I'm hoping XIII is great.

black you didnt like XII? i though it was good the story was good and all very in depth i though i enjoyed it though i like the old PS1 ones like VII and VIII the best. I just hope after all the very high expectations it doesnt disappoint i think this game needs to be amazing for all the time they put into it im also crossing my fingers

XII was just a clone of tactics with a XI combat system, they didnt even give it a original soundtrack as almost the sound came from X and XI. X just was better in all ways mainly as it was a love story with a tragic ending, it also was the first FF in the history of the series to spawn a sequal X-2 witch just show you how good it is. The combat system in XII wasnt really the best idea square ever had, but i will say i have high hopes for the new combat system. And plz dont compare XII to VII and VIII, cuz its not like them at all its the bottem of the barrel even getting bested by most snes FF titles. I actaully over paid for my XII, so it broke my hart and my wallet LMAO. By the way did u guys see the new XIII vid? It totaly rocks

12 was poo.. i liked the graphics.. and the idea of walkign around and seeing random marks and a dinosaur.. but the story was pretty lame..

It also didnt really have the love story that drawed me to vii and x, exept if you count the time when Balthier chattin up Ashe. The whole story just felt out of place even Cid wasnt a good guy like normally, also missed ifrit, shiva, bahamut and the rest of the gang. Before u say they where there i know that but the fact they only called ships after the originals just seems, well it just seems retarted. The whole orphan story also wasnt really great would of prefer a love story that would move even a rock to tears like vii and x. Lets hope XIII will be stickin to the old tried and tested package, i honestly think i will not be able to live through a nother screw up.
