I've put up with a lot of changes in the Final Fantasy series, and watched the baton get passed down from the original team to the next and the next, but this was the last straw. A part of me hopes this is fake. A part of me doesn't even care if it's fake or not.

Personally, I just think they're trying to expand the popularity of this game. I mean its not that hard, a good portion of FF players were disappointed with this and 13. Maybe this is their way to increase their fanbase or ensure they still have one for the next FF lol.

I remember that advert... Was awesome. I also remember seeing a Japanese one for FFX (I think) potion drinks... That was just weird, but it made me want one anyway...

I also fail to see a problem with what they are doing. Advertisement comes in many forms, this is just one of them. I have much more respect for them advertising this way than I do for them advertising with the actual TV adverts they released for both XIII and XIII-2 because the songs in both of those adverts were a sack of shit.

It's really not that big a deal, although I don't know why they put Lightning in men's clothes. I don't understand why your so upset with this? It's not like this will affect the quality of Final Fantasy games. As long as SE doesnt fuck around and make sure they get Versus 13 and FF15 right idc what they do. They can make clothing line's for Lesbians like Justin Bieber and I still wouldn't give a shit.

The thing that pushes me over the edge on this, is that it's FINAL FANTASY. Last thing I want is the "fantasy" part of it bombarding me in real life on magazine covers for fashion BS.

So now I have images of Lightning, Sazh, Noel, and everyone all "hipstered" out in these tacky clothes.

I also have to question, "WHY?" What is the point of Prada endorsing their clothes in CGI format? If I was enough of a tool to buy their crap, I would at LEAST want to see the real deal, not a CGI render on some video game character that I have no idea of.

Square Enix is just selling out, more and more. And this is the culmination of it. I have loved and played Final Fantasy my whole life, and so it's pretty tragic to see my all-time favorite series become what it is now.

I miss Sakaguchi, and I miss Squaresoft. The last dollar I spend towards Final Fantasy, and perhaps Square Enix entirely, will be for the Final Fantasy HD remaster. After that, I'll be following Sakaguchi and Uematsu with their creations with Mistwalker.
