You could try a different weather condition.

It was Sunny as usual. But also when raining I've got mostly goblins and the like. Maybe it was a funny afternoon. I'll try again next time.

The microchu had a good spawn rate for me during rainy weather. I believe the official guide has two weather conditions where they spawn, but I'm not sure: I always stuck to rainy to farm them.

Yes, sunny and rainy. I switched off the fragment skill for stronger monsters and I've got quite a few, now. Still I am 100% sure that I checked that before and nothing changed. Oh well, never mind.

It takes me 7 minutes to defeat Yomi.

SAB/SAB/SEN*
SYN/SYN/SEN
MED/MED/MED
SEN/SEN/SEN

These are the only four paradigms you need...play as Serah. (I use Silver Chocobo as my SEN and Flanitor as my MED)

Start the battle by casting Poison repeatedly. Once Poison sticks, attack him with Wound. Once he puts his Aura up, switch to MED/MED/MED, heal up and then to SYN/SYN/SEN to buff...once his Aura is gone, it's all rinse and repeat from there...SEN/SEN/SEN for when he uses Wicked Whirl.

I defeated Yomi but it felt slow still got 5*s It lasted 11:43 out of 15:15 for Normal

most of the time Poison didn't stick then it goes and Shells up and resets everything even just after Poison did work!

Yomi and ol' Raspatootass alone warrant more than a 3+ difficulty rating. Sheesh. I'm having a blast with this game, though.

Huh, I first beat that pest earlier today, and I figured using poison would work well (didn't read any strategies, but everything about Yomi seemed the same as that, uh... Vercingetorix from FFXIII). However, I could never get poison to stick; every time he went into "invincible mode" he'd lose the poison status. So I eventually gave up trying to inflict him with poison. If I had known it would stick sooner or later... pfft!

Dunno how long the battle took me, but I do know I got a zero stars ranking. 8D
