It really isn't automatically there are some random patterns!

To light the 1st Bonus Stage Flag arrow >(those side lamps/arrows)

It still hard to keep lighting up those Stage Bonus flag arrows!

Light up all 3 to get jackpot with out 999 or Microchu and in 5 turns with out bomb/cactuar x3 will get 999 then enter Victory Mode!
Then only random Reels fade darker x3 or random jackpots to enter Bonus Stage! or random 999 to enter Super Victory Mode,
*Moogle has 50% chance to end SVM!

But on that video at about 0:30
I only had the 1st Stage Bonus flag arrow and randomly got jackpot with no winning matches, its also happened just a few other times!

New game for me again. First try for slot machines with 19k worth of coins (from 2 chocobo races). after 3119 turns and 9 X 999 later got the fragment. Wasnt really lucky...but hey got the coin anyway lols (lost 6k of coins in process).

What makes the side lights light up and what makes them turn off again? What significance do the lights have? I hate how this slots game has no tactics whatsover involved.

After getting in my very lucky 3rd try both the trophy and and fragment i played again for few hours just out of boredom. That machine is a coins sucker. Even with the HUGE advantage of saving & reloading it paid no crap. 2K coins once. I gave up. I have a Silver Chocobo lvl 45 anyway!!

It light ups when getting on left side 1 bomb or getting 3 cactuars. With the lights on its possible to get Jackpot. and it also improves odds of winning. for light to go off, its usually if you get bomb on the same line where the light are on.

There are lots of things that I do no know for getting lights on/off but I've listed things I've learned so far.

Some stats of mine playing the slotmachine:

I didn't see exactly howlong ive been on the slots, I guess somewhere arround 2 hours starting with 5000 coins.

Total Turns: 1681
Turns: 1482
Jackpots: Only 2

I got my first one after the first 150 turns, getting into victory mode maybe for a good 10 turns, My next jackpot Then was after a good 1482 turns lol hitted it with my last 200 coins, Went on about for 20 turns, Seriously this is rediculous, Took me an absurd time already for the Don Tonberry and now this.

I think, from my own experience, the more coins you have, the better, originally, I started with 4000, coins and just kept losing, would have nothing within 400 turns, went away and got the trophy with the Chocobos, came back to the slots with 14,000 coins and had the lucky coin fragment within 800 turns and was only 1000 coins out of pocket.

This is my last trophy for plat. I've got 30k coins so.. Here goes!

Lucky Coin was a pain to get. I just put a rubber band on the L1 and left to watch a movie. Luckily, I got an Ochu in a few turns and got my fragment.
As for the trophy, I will do it with a chocobo.
