I personally found painter's tape to be much better than a rubber band... it leaves no sticky residue when removed.
You pretty much need the "it's like a hot summer's day" in order to make a profit. I tried it on "it's on fire" and made much less. |

Same here, I thought "On Fire" would have been th best to play on but Hot summers day worked far better.

I lost a good amount of coins (500-700 each) with both. Then i tried again with the machine on fire and I've got 12K profit (again, after losing 600-700 coins). Is it possible that one is better with automatic reel and the other with manual?

Just yesterday I played on "hot like summer day" machine in manual mode, 1250 coins down the drain. It was like constant downward spiral, no coming back, losing again and so on. It was supposed to give 130% return on my invest on average and with hundreds of games I played it should have evened out.
I think I got three cactuars once, three chocobos maybe a dozen times and moogs too many times to count (only gives your money back). Not a single major win. What gives?!? ![]() Also what does it mean when the rows lit up starting from the bottom one? I also noticed that I got somewhat random results stopping the reels starting from the left. When I started from middle or right, I constantly got identical results with chocobo on top left, middle center and middle right. Not like I was actually stopping the reels like the strategy guide says but it was just giving me the same predetermined results

Oh. I have been extremely lucky the 3rd time, then! It's just that each round took more than 30-40 minutes and that was starting to get too much since I just kept losing. One can't stay 2 hours in front of a screen holding L1 as a moron.
I am not saying that after half an hour it should give out the big coins, but at least a couple of thousands would be fair. Otherwise they are really pushing people to use the rubber tape trick. |
