Introduction

There are only two rules in The Fight: Lights Out! The first rule is you don’t talk about The Fight: Lights Out. The second rule is: There are no rules!

The Fight: Lights Out is a PlayStation Move bare-knuckle brawling game that will challenge your cardio-vascular system. The Fight: Lights Out is a one-on-one fighting game featuring both single and multiplayer action. The Fight requires two Move motion controllers, one for each hand, to track your arm movements, while the PlayStation Eye tracks your head.

Note: This game is physically brutal. You will burn THOUSANDS of calories whether you want to or not. You will be sore in your shoulders and upper back muscles after a good gaming session. If you are really out of shape I would recommend you play this game in short sessions, at least at first until you feel comfortable playing this game for longer periods.

ROAD MAP

Step 1: Training & Campaign

1st things 1st; create your fighter and begin training. Building up a good portion of skill points will make all sections of the game much easier. The quickest and most efficient way to building a large amount of skill points is by endurance sparring. See the trophy description for “(G) Master” for how to get 50 skill points in around 2-3 minutes.

In addition, if you have an extra $2 lying around, I would suggest you buy the “Timesavers pack” from the PSN store. Not only does it give you $1,000 in game currency but an important 999 skill points, this is enough to make you a beast right of the bat!. It also includes all dirty moves so you can work on getting “(B) Punisher” and “(B) Dizzy” while playing through the campaign. Without the pack you would have to wait until you defeated the last boss before you can unlock those trophies. The pack also unlocks new fighters, with all costumes, accessories, and tattoos. The Timesavers Pack DOES NOT disable any trophies.

After you have some skill points, upgrade your fighter's abilities and hop into the world of underground fighting. The campaign is 120 fights long, during the campaign you should unlock the following trophies: (S) Surgeon, (B) Saint, (B) Sinner, (S) Rush, (B) Tank, (B) Prodigy, (G) Nails, (G) Legend, (G) Master, (B) Bear, (B) Clubber, (S) Lightning, and (S) Thunder. If you purchased the Timesavers pack you should also get (B) Punisher and (B) Dizzy.

While playing through the campaign remember to train your boxer for more skill points. As you move up the ranks the fighters get significantly tougher. The fighters won’t necessarily be difficult to beat, but it will be difficult to “nail” some of the events.

Note: I would suggest you fight and defeat the 1st boss as soon as he becomes available. This will net you the (S) Slayer trophy. Don’t worry if you went through the campaign in order and did not receive this trophy. You can also get it online. Your fighter has separate single player and multiplayer ranks.

Step 2: Online

You can do this while playing through the campaign as well. In order to reach the top rank and hold the title you will need to win roughly 60 fights online. There are 6 online trophies: (S) Rampage, (B) Upsetter, (G) Champ, (G) Everlasting, (B) Highroller, and (B) Bank.

The online community in this game is sparse to say the least. Make sure you visit the The Fight's Boosting Thread to find other players with similar interest.

AGAIN: Finding random players online to either fight against or bet on is similar to finding a needle in a haystack but much more frustrating. Sometimes you could go days where you wont find a soul. Other days the servers will be flush with players but these days are few and far between.

Step 3: Clean Up

Use this step to clean up any trophies you haven't gotten yet. You more than likely will have to grind the (B) Money trophy. This requires you to have $1,000,000 dollars available. After you finish the campaign you will have roughly $100,000 dollars depending on how your bets went. Multiplayer does give you a chance to win huge amounts of money by winning fights against higher ranked opponents and betting not only on your fights but random online fights as well. See the (B) Money trophy descriptions for tips on acquiring money. There is a good chance you will also need (S) Survivor and (B) Lucky. See their respective trophy descriptions for tips.

If you were dedicated and fit enough to complete all of those steps you are now in the select company of a few and the owner of a very rare (P) Trophy.

TROPHY GUIDE

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/000.jpg

Maniac (P)

Win all trophies

Congratulations, you are now part of the Elite Maniac Club

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/001.jpgThunder (S)

Land a really, really hard hit

A really hard hit does 500 HP worth of damage. The hit can be clean or dirty, just make sure your hit goes unblocked. Having a “strength” rating above 60 will aid in this. It’s very likely you will get this trophy during the normal course of your campaign. If not return to the bottom tier of events after you’ve beaten the campaign and punish those lowly chumps.

*You can check the progress of this trophy under “stats” in the “Extras” section of the main menu.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/002.jpgLightning (S)

Knock someone out really fast

You have to knockout your opponent in 4-6 seconds which is not as hard as it sounds. Once you have leveled up your fighter with a strength and technique rating above 40. This will come easily against low tier fighters in the campaign.

*You can check the progress of this trophy under “stats” in the “Extras” section of the main menu.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/003.jpgLucky (B)

Win a fight with less than 5% health remaining

This has to be done vs. the CPU. You may get this normally during your playthrough of campaign mode. If not, wait until you have sufficiently upgraded your abilities then go back and fight the very 1st fighter in the campaign. Beat him down to a slither of his life. Then let him beat you down to a slither of yours. Once you can barely see your heath bar knock that sucker out.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/004.jpgClubber (B)

Knock out 10 opponents with the Hammer fist punch

The Hammer fist punch is a dirty move you obtain after defeating your 1st campaign opponent. It’s pulled off by holding the :trigger: button on a MOVE controller, lifting it above your head, then making a hammering motion downwards. Wait until your opponent has 1 hit left of life then unleash this beast. No need to grind this trophy. You fight 120 opponents during the campaign. You can knock ten of them out with this move.

*You can check the progress of this trophy under “stats” in the “Extras” section of the main menu.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/005.jpgDizzy (B)

Knock out 10 opponents with a spinning move

You obtain the “spinning back fist” after defeating the final boss. It’s pulled off by holding down the :trigger: buttons on both MOVE controllers and spinning around (Tip: You don’t actually have to spin around, you can just turn your body quickly.) If you purchased the Timesavers Pack you’ll have this move right of the bat. If you purchased the pack then there is no need to grind this trophy. You fight 120 opponents during the campaign. You can knock ten of them out with this move. If you did not purchase the pack then wont obtain this move until you defeat the final boss. After you defeat the final boss, go and re-fight the 1st opponent and quickly beat him ten times with this move.

*You can check the progress of this trophy under “stats” in the “Extras” section of the main menu.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/006.jpgBear (B)

Knock out 10 opponents while grabbing

You obtain the ability to grab an opponent after you defeat your 1st boss. This move is pulled off by holding down the :trigger: & :move: buttons on either MOVE controller. While holding down the buttons make a grabbing motion towards your opponent. Continue to hold on to the :trigger: & :move: buttons with your grabbing hand and punch your opponent with your free hand. There is no need to grind this trophy. If you bought the Timesavers Pack then you have this move from the beginning. If not then you’ll get it after your 10th victory. Either way you have 120 or 110 more wins to go in campaign mode.

*You can check the progress of this trophy under “stats” in the “Extras” section of the main menu.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/007.jpgSurgeon (S)

Win a fight with a hit percentage above 95%

Your hit percentage must be 96% or higher. Easiest if you have your technique, strength, and stamina abilities upgraded. Don’t punch until you get in real close to your opponent then unload on him. The results screen after each match tells you your hit %. If you don’t have this trophy by the end of the campaign, go back and fight the 1st fighter again. Knock him out quickly and efficiently.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/008.jpgSaint (B)

Win a fight using only clean moves

Dirty moves are only attempted while holding the :trigger: button on any MOVE controller. Simply don’t touch the :trigger: button and win a fight. You’ll more than likely get this during your 1st match.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/009.jpgSinner (B)

Win a fight using less than 30% clean moves

After you have upgraded your abilities a bit, go back and fight the 1st opponent again. This time every time you hit him use dirty moves (hold down the :trigger: button) and knock him out. This can be obtained in tandem with “(B) Punisher.”

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/010.jpgPunisher (B)

Stun an opponent 6 times, and then win the match

For this trophy use the “spinning back punch.” This move has the most range in the game and is a guaranteed stun if cleanly connected. See (B)Dizzy for how to pull off this move. Once you have the ability and strength of around 35-40 go back and fight the 1st opponent in campaign again (poor bastard) and hit him with nothing but spinning back punches. If connected cleanly you will see him stumble back and shake his head. His reaction is unmistakable. Wait until his white health recovers into his red. Repeat 5 times for the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/011.jpgRush (S)

Throw 25 punches in 15 seconds, landing more than 50% of them

This is pretty self explanatory. Just get in close to your opponent and start swinging away as fast as you can. But don’t get to wild you have to connect with half of those punches. You’ll get this during your playthrough of the campaign.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/012.jpgUntouchable (S)

Win a match with more than 99% health remaining

Another self explanatory trophy, you need a flawless victory or only be hit once lightly. With a decently upgraded fighter you should get this during the campaign. If not once you finish the campaign go back and beat up on your old friend “1st fight.” If you are still having trouble you can get this online with a boosting partner.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/016.jpgTank (B)

Take a lot of damage

To take a lot of damage is to take 100,000 HP of damage during your career. You’ll get this trophy during the 3rd or 4th event of the campaign.

*You can check the progress of this trophy under “stats” in the “Extras” section of the main menu.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/019.jpgMoney (B)

Make a lot of money

A lot of money is to have $1,000,000 dollars available in spending money, not the total sum of money made as the trophy description suggest (Thanks to Texasboi727 for confirming this). This is a grind for sure. If you have been betting well by the time you finish the campaign and online trophies you could have $300,000-$500,000 dollars. Now you need to grind the rest.

The fastest way is to continue to fight/boost online. Make sure your betting the max amount you can always bet on “flawless victory” if boosting, if you’re not boosting than bet on what you know you can accomplish. Depending on ranks you could get anywhere from $15,000-$80,000 per fight. Also if you have free time and if (big IF) others are online fighting. Then you can bet on those fights as well.

The fastest single player way to grid money is to fight the final boss over and over again. You can bet up to $4,500 per fight, combine that with a 1.7X multiplier for a precision victory and a $750 bonus if your fighter has a saint (100%) reputation and you get about $10K a fight. Warning: If you bet precision and have < 81% hit percentage it will lower your winnings.

Complete all the career events

Self explanatory, there are 120 fights during the campaign. Win them all and the trophy is yours. Some events you have to win in a designated time frame, the game gives you more than enough time. If you fail you can replay events an unlimited amount of times.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/021.jpg Nails (G)

Nail all the career events

Every event has two objectives. The 1st objective is to either win the fight or win the fight during a designated time frame. The 2nd objective is the “To Nail” objective. The “To Nail” objectives range from beating an opponent in a limited time frame, taking less than 25% damage from an opponent, to beating an opponent without using any dirty moves. The objectives can be found on the right side of the screen before beginning the match.

You’ll know if you nailed a match because the game will tell you immediately after the fight. When looking at fight cards: 1 star means you have completed the fight, 2 stars mean you have nailed it. Nailed event cards show 3 stars.

For the most part these are all very easy. You may have to re-play some of the later fights but nothing is difficult to the point of needing a strategy. But if you are having trouble, go train and upgrade your abilities.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/022.jpg Legend (G)

Reach a really high rank

To reach a really high rank you need to reach rank 500 in either single player or multiplayer. You’ll get this normally while progressing through the campaign. If you begin playing online you will get the trophy about the same time you get (G) Champ.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/023.jpg Dynamo (G)

Survive a lot of rounds of Endurance sparring

To achieve this trophy you need to survive 20 rounds of endurance sparring, each round last 30 seconds. The fighters and their tactics change every round as well. You don’t have to dominate to survive the round, just make sure you’re activity fighting and defending, not running. On the bottom left corner of the screen is the hit multiplier. If a round ends and you have a 0 with no hits the game ends. If you get knocked out the game ends, if you knock out your opponent the game ends. The key is to constantly hit your opponent to keep your multiplier up, but stop hitting them if it reaches 10 because you may knock them out. Dirty moves are disabled during endurance sparring.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/024.jpg Master (G)

Upgrade your skills a lot

This trophy requires you upgrade 3 of your 6 abilities to at least 91. You upgrade your abilities with skill points. You get skill points from training.

These abilities are:

Speed

Strength

Stamina

Heart

Chin

Technique

You can check your abilities in the “Stats” section under “Extras” in the main menu. For this trophy’s purpose ignore the “abilities” tab under “fighter” as those stats are enhanced by earning other trophies or buying certain equipment.

The fastest way to upgrade your skills in this game is to exploit endurance sparring (ES).

In each ES session the largest amount of skill points you can obtain is 50. You get 50 skill points for 16,000 points in ES. So after you hit 16,000 points – stop fighting, let the AI end the session. You get your points, then rinse and repeat.

The quickest way to 16,000 is to start the round by hitting your opponent as hard as you can until your hit multiplier is at 9 or 10. Then just throw soft jabs and other punches to keep the multiplier high. A good round will net you 6-7,000 points. So you can have the maximum 16,000 points in 3 rounds, that’s 50 skill points in 1:30 seconds. You won’t always get 16,000 in 3 rounds, sometimes the AI will just run away from you for 20 seconds. It should take you no more than 7-8 rounds (under 4 minutes) under any circumstances to reach the 16,000.

Remember to just STOP fighting after you hit 16,000 points because you’ve already hit the max amount of skill points you can get that session. Don’t quit out of the session, you’ll lose the points. Just set the controllers down and wait it out.

Special thanks to Jans for coming up with the strategy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/442/026.jpg Survivor (S)

Get stunned 6 times, but win the match

This is by far the hardest trophy in the game to get. You cannot boost this online either. The best way to get this trophy is to fight the final boss because his 2nd and 3rd favorite dirty moves are the “spinning back fist” and “spinning elbow,” both of these moves will stun you. Unfortunately, his favorite dirty move is a normal back fist that won’t stun you but will deal major damage, try to avoid it at all cost.

You can get the final boss to resort to dirty moves by beating him within’ an inch of his life then backing off. The tough thing is to keep your health at a high level while demolishing his, easier said than done. I would highly recommend that you max out or nearly max out you strength, speed, stamina, chin, and technique before trying for this trophy.

When the fight starts do what you have been doing, beat him to a bloody pulp, but lay off when he is one hit away from knockout. Now he’ll start to get dirty. Move in close to him then move away quickly. Try to avoid his back fist, they come really fast and do major damage. Try not to get too far away from him or he’ll miss any spinning attack. Stay relatively close, when you see a spinning move coming move into him and take the stun. After you're stunned attack the boss again because he would have gained some health back. Beat him down to 1 hit again and repeat. After the 6th stun knock him out and get your trophy. Good luck.

Online Trophies

Defeat an opponent with 50% higher rank

This can be done in either single player or online. In single player just fight and beat the 1st boss character as soon as you can. You can see what rank your opponent is after you load the fight. Hit :square: to see their stats. Online you start at rank 10, so you need to beat someone with a rank of 15 or higher.

Win a lot of online bets

You need to win 25 online bets to get this trophy. There are two ways you can win an online bet.

1. Go to multiplayer, watch and bet. Find a match (good luck) and bet on a winner.

2. Fight online, bet on yourself and win.

The first rule of The Fight: Lights Out is you don't talk... Lmao too funny just saw Fight Club a couple weeks ago. Anyways good job on your first written guide, came out pretty good bro! I shall join you with the platinum soon as well, but man i am still sore as hell from 4 days ago. Time savers pack i may just invest in for the Xp, because i am burnt out from endurance sparring...

Excellent guide, great work! Now if I only I could get lucky enough to be on when other boosters are...

I can't stress enough (and think immikeulate should say it a few more times) but the online playerbase for this game just isn't there. I'm sure someone could do the online without boosting, but I sure wouldn't recommend it.

Not sure why but your images in the second post are broken.

I don't know what happened either . I just fixed it though.

Nice to finally see a trophy guide pop up for this game. You've done a good job of it aswell ;)

Thanks, I appreciate it.

A Move action fighting game that's secretly a fitness game. I like it already! :D

Guide looks great! Not sure if I'll ever get this game but if I do, I'll keep that message in mind.

Awesome Guide for a vastly underrated game! I am thoroughly enjoying this as a very fun substitute for workouts.

Do you think you could add in a section for all the dlc and what they do exactly? Hate to take your cookie and ask for a glass of milk but I am curious.

Thanks again for the great guide. :applause:

thanks for this, need to get back into it, lost interest after my save corrupted, awesome game!!

Personally, I found that the speed bag was the quickest way to build your stats. 17000 points in less than 3 minutes... the endurance sparring way requires more effort & you sweat like a bitch :francis: & if your shit at the game, gettin the 16000 points within 3 rounds is really hard, but thats just me.

As for the DLC, don't bother with the cheats. They don't disable trophies but they are limited to 10 uses only. No where did it say before you buy them that you can only use them 10 times before you'd have to buy them again. Waste of money!! (even if they are only £0.79 each) Unless theres a way around it?

Also, I might have missed it in your guide but I think when boosting with a friend, you have to be within 300 ranks of each other otherwise you won't be able to play each other.

Thanks for the tip with the DLC. What about the fitness pack, do you know what's in that one?

I agree the speed bag is the best way. You only need 15000 points to get the full 50 points and almost always get it in under 3 minutes. Endurance sparring can be very hit or miss, pardon the pun and can take a lot longer.

Your right, 15000 it is. I've got it down to 15000 in 1 minute 54 secs. Very easy

In addition, if you have an extra $2 lying around, I would suggest you buy the “Timesavers pack” from the PSN store. Not only does it give you $1,000 in game currency but an important 999 skill points,

Timesavers pack costs £3.99 on the UK store so I'm pretty sure it costs more than $2. I may be mistaken though.

Also, it gives you $10000 & 1000 skill points, not $1000 & 999. Just thought I'd point that out.

You actually only need to beat each boss for this trophy, at least that is how I got it.

Also for Survivor I found, after fighting everyone multiple time for like 2-3 hours, that Sgt Tank is the best to get this on. Not only does he do minimal damage to someone that is at end game but he only uses Spear and High Lo for dirty moves. High Lo stuns you almost every time and his attacks are all easy to block. Hurt him and then just stand in front of him until he stuns you, rinse and repeat.

I encountered quite a few issues while I was using this guide as it contains a large amount of incorrect information that definitely needs to be updated. These are a few of the issues that I ran into.

Champ - The guide doesn't mention anywhere that you need to be within 300 points of your boosting partner in order to find eachother. If I didn't read one of the responses on this guide then we would've had no idea as to why we couldn't match up against eachother. Even if this is common knowledge, I think that it is something that definitely should be included for those that don't know how the online functions.

Dynamo - This trophy can glitch for some. Like another user on this site, this trophy didn't pop for me when I had reached Round 21. I had to redo the endurance sparring again in order for it to pop.

Legend - This trophy must be earned in single player.

Money - That definitely is not the fastest way to obtain it in single player. When you finish the career, keep losing to the first fighter until your rank goes back to 0. Then fight the last boss and bet on a precision win or a flawless win, whichever you're more comfortable with. This will easily net you over $100,000 in one fight.

Minor mistakes, but important enough to warrant an update to the guide.

I just upgraded the first 3 skills to 91, but didn't get the trophy. I tried playing one career match, but it didn't pop after that either. So I did one more round of speed bag and upgraded them to 92, but still no trophy.

I wonder if the other attributes need to be at least 50 or something like that. One of them is currently 43 or 44. I'll try that.

Any ideas?

Edit: That didn't work either. Now my stats are 92, 92, 92, 61, 54, 55. No trophy.

Edit: Just got it. Some of my attributes already had some boosts thanks to some of the trophies I'd done before. So I increased the stats a bit more until they reached 91 without the boosts and the trophy popped. To clarify, strength had +4, so I upgraded it to 95. The next two stats had +2 each, so I upgraded them to 93 and it worked.
