makes sense to wait for a final response on whether he was referring to fifa 09 or 10. There is definite lack of confidence in this area. I never thought reading his email he could be referring to fifa 10, but people wanted extra clarification so will see what they say.

I would assume they would know that you are talking about FIFA09 since you talked about trophy patch and how it was available for only 3 months time.

that was my assumption too. ive re-read email chain a couple of times and im struggling with the language used to see how he could be referring to fifa 10. but as people would like a further level of comfort i have sent another enquiry

I think there's a big chance he's actually talking about Fifa 09, because he said "Yes the interactive league will reopen once the european seasons start". The european seasons start mid august, and Fifa 10 will be released in october, why would he say that it will reopen "once the european seasons start" other than referring to Fifa 09?

Anyway, we need to be sure, I hope you get a response soon

The only lack of confidence I get is from reading the other email chain which specifically relates to Fifa 09.

Although yours does say re-open...

I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Yep, the reason they gave you a direct answer was because you failed to specify whether this was for 09 or 10 and they've more than likely just assumed you mean it relates to upcoming game.....

My only thoughts with regard to the other thread is that EA have seen the reaction to closing interactive leagues and reconsidered the position.
