Interactive Leagues WILL reopen - Official Response from EA

My message:

Hi. I've sent you a message some weeks ago asking if Fifa 09 "Interactive Leagues" mode would reopen, because there's a game trophy/achievement that became unattainable since this mode closed two months ago, when the previous european soccer season ended. I got a response from "Alden L." saying that the new season will be available in Fifa 10, not Fifa 09 (a.k.a. Fifa 09 trophy/achievement lost forever). However, a friend sent you the same question, and he's got a response from "David C." saying "yes, the Interactive Leagues WILL reopen IN FIFA 09, once the european seasons start". The Fifa 09 players will be able to play the Interactive Leagues again, or not? Please notice that I'm talking about Interactive Leagues, NOT about Adidas Live Season. If positive, when it's going to happen? Some european leagues already begun. Thanks

New information did reach us saying that the free leagues for both FIFA 09-10 will be up in a couple of weeks to allow for the majority of the leagues to start up.

i find this funny, EA is bombarded with questions about the interactive leagues
they should take a hint and it seems that each time we get a different answer.
they should take the hint that not everyone has the and when we first buy a game we dont think to start playing the interactiv leagues because it will close in a few months. this online trophy is as supid as the fight night round 4 online trophys.

I was wondering when exactly the interactive leagues were reopening for Fifa 09? In a previous question (#090723-002040) you stated "Yes the interactive leagues in FIFA 09 will reopen once the season starts". Can you provide a date for this? If you have any doubt as to how important this issue is please see the forum on www.ps3trophies.org (FIFA 09 - PS3Trophies.org) where i posted your original responses to my questions. In 2 weeks this post has had 3500 views. Thanks Paul

I guess they decided late to reopen these leagues and are now adding the extra teams and testing. Don't rely on them opening this weekend - they might not. May have to wait a couple more weeks yet.
