Feeding Frenzy 2 Shipwreck Showdown Trophy Guide and Road Map

Overview:
-Estimated trophy difficulty: 3.62/10
-Offline: 12 (1 | 3| 8)
-Online: 0 (0 | 0 | 0)
-Approximate time to 100%: 4-6 hours
-Minimum number of play throughs needed: 1 Story Mode | 1 Time Attack | 3 matches Frenzy Fest
-Glitched trophies: A few trophies have been reported glitched. "The Intruder" and "Fast Food" especially. If any trophy glitches on you just keep doing what is required and it will eventually pop up.
-Do cheat codes disable trophies? No Cheats.

Road Map

Step 1: Time Attack! play through.

You must play through all 60 levels of Time Attack mode to get Fast Food. For Fast Food do not continue if you die. Simply quit the game instead of hitting "continue." When you restart you will be able to select the level you were on last. This will make running through the game faster and easier because you will not deplete your extra lives.

Eat every fish possible and always try to eat a whole school or swarm. You can also get Barracuda Bully, Flippin' Good Time, Well Defended, and Frenzyfest Master in Time Attack! Mode. You will also get Full Tank and Fish Upgrade by the time you beat Time Attack! mode.

Step 2: Story Mode playthrough.

You should get The Intruder after beating the boss on level 60. You should also get Well Fed Fish and School Teacher by now.
If you have not earned any of the following trophies you should play random levels until you earn them. (however, they are all easy and you should have little to no problems earning them...) Barracuda Bully, Flippin' Good Time, Well Defended, and Frenzyfest Master

Step 3: Party Games.

Play 10 games and come in first to get Life of the Party. This can be done by one person with two controllers.

Step 4: Frenzyfest

Set the match 2 players, and just win 2 out of 3 to get Frenzyfest Master. This can be done by one person with two controllers.


Well Fed Fish - Bronze Trophy
Awarded for eating 5000 fish

Eat 5000 fish. This is cumulative over Time Attack! and Story Mode. Just eat all the fish and this will pop up. By the time you have finished Time Attack! and Story Mode you should have well over 15,000 fish. At the end of every level the game shows you how many fish you have consumed so far with the Food Bank number.



Life of the Party - Bronze Trophy
Complete in Party Games to accumulate 1000 Party Points

Have 2 controllers on, go to Multiplayer, PARTY GAMES, play and win 10 games with controller 1. You will receive 100 points for winning each match. Upon winning your 10th match, the trophy will pop up.


Barracuda Bully - Bronze Trophy
Awarded for biting a Barracuda's tail four times

The Barracuda is a large ugly gray fish that appears randomly on multiple boards. There will be a red target on the tail of the fish. A yellow icon with an exclamation point will pop up in the vicinity of the Barracuda's spawn point. Hit to boost towards the target to bite the tail. Do this 4 times to the same Barracuda and it will shrink. After the fourth bite the trophy will pop up.


Flippin' Good Time - Bronze Trophy
Awarded for completing a Quadruple Flip

This can only be done on the levels that take place at the surface of the water. Swim to the surface and hit to jump out of the water. Keep hitting to spin. You have to complete 4 rotations and land head first to get the trophy. If you land on your side you will belly flop! and be unable to move for a few moments. The best way to do this is grab a lighting bolt power up and speed to the top as fast as you can. You will get better height this way and it will allow you to do more rotations. Hold on the controller to level your fish.


Well Defended - Bronze Trophy
Awarded for accumulating 3 simultaneous fish shields

There are red bonus icon bubbles that contain a small silver fish. Upon grabbing the bubble you will have a small silver fish swimming right next to your fish. They act as a shield and if you are hit by something that would normally kill/eat you, you will just loose the shield fish. You mush have 3 of these fish shields with you to unlock the trophy. These icons do not appear until about half way through the game. Levels 28 and 30 are great stages to earn this trophy on.


Full Tank - Bronze Trophy
Awarded for unlocking all Fish Upgrades

"Story" related; can't miss. Just play all the way through Time Attack! or Story Mode and you will receive the trophy. You get your last upgrade on level 38. This trophy should pop right after the game notifies you of the "upgrade."


Fast Food - Bronze Trophy
Awarded for chomping through Time Attack!

Play all the way through Time Attack! mode to get this trophy. There are 60 levels. Just play through them all to get this trophy. If you die, instead of selecting "continue," just leave the game and start over. When you start over you can start on the level you were on last.


Frenzyfest Master - Bronze Trophy
Awarded for coming first in a Frenzyfest

Have 2 controllers on, select FRENZYFEST from the Multiplayer tab, select 3 mini games, and use player 1 to win 2 matches.


Mega Frenzy - Silver Trophy
Awarded for reaching the maximum FRENZY multiplier in a single player game

If you keep eating fish quickly you will receive "Frenzy" mode. With each subsequent frenzy mode you will receive an additional multiplier. Get to MEGA FRENZY by having a X6 multiplier. You will most likely get this during regular play, but if you are having trouble just keep sucking in schools of fish as quick as possible. You will have it in no time.


School Teacher - Silver Trophy
Awarded for consuming 500 schools or swarms

Groups of fish that swim together are "schools", and groups of bugs that hover above the water together are called "swarms." You will know you ate a school or a swarm by the "School Bonus!" text. Use to suck in schools of fish once you unlock that ability.

You should get this by playing the game normally if you concentrate on sucking in schools and swarms. If you are done with everything else and still do not have this trophy, go to level 12 and farm schools there.



Fish Upgrade - Silver Trophy
Awarded for your first fish upgrade

"Story" related; can't miss. Just play all the way through Time Attack! or Story Mode and you will receive the trophy. You get your first upgrade on level 9. This trophy should pop right after the game notifies you of the "upgrade."



The Intruder - Gold Trophy
Awarded for defeating the Intruder

Beat the level 60 boss. A yellow exclamation mark icon will pop up in proximity to where The Intruder will appear, just like it does with the Barracuda. There is a target on the antenna of The Intruder. When The Intruder appears it will not attack you unless you bite the antenna.

You need to bite the target and quickly put yourself on the other side of a mine that sinks from the surface. Once the bomb hits the Intruder, mushroom bubbles will appear from it. Collect all the mushroom bubbles and the Intruder will swim off screen. You will need to collect about 20 mushrooms to kill The Intruder. Once your fish eats it, you will get the trophy.

If there are no mines on the level when The Intruder appears, just wait a few moments for them to drop. You can bite the antenna anyway and dodge the attacks or just ignore The Intruder completely until you have a good opportunity to attack it.

Good looking guide! I was wondering if you could confirm that trophies are obtainable in 'Time Attack Mode'. It makes sense, but I found that I couldn't collect ANY except Fast Food. However, once I hit Story mode I almost IMMEDIATELY unlocked School Nurse and Well Fed Fish. Then I got the others as I went though Story Mode. Just want to see if it was a glitch on my end.

Also, some additional info on the first available stages for each Story trophy. (I was making notes for my own guide, but this one's GREAT!)

LEVEL 1 - Mega Frenzy
LEVEL 9 - Fish Upgrade
LEVEL 10 - Barracuda Bully
LEVEL 15 - Flippin' Good Time (Gotta use the lightning bolt)
LEVEL 30 - Well Defended
LEVEL 38 - Full Tank

If you did time attack mode first you probably didn't have enough schools consumed by the end. I did Time Attack mode first and got "School Teacher" about 1/2 way through Story Mode. I don't think it is a glitch - I do not think you would get 500 schools playing normally through 60 levels.

Same is possibly true for "Well Fed Fish". I think got that trophy before I beat time attack. (I did time attack first) Also got Full tank, Mega frenzy, well defended, and flippin' good time during Time attack mode.

FAST FOOD trophy didnt unlock for me. I hope the INTRUDER trophy isn'y glitched on me as well.

Mine didn't pop at first either, try replaying just the final level in Time Attack and it should chime in!
