Default DLC trophies...

I was thinking that like olsen's platinum difficulty threads it would be a good idea to have DLC trophy difficulty threads for all games that have DLC. What do you think?

I don't think there is too much of a demand for this. When DLC comes out, people usually just request help on a specific trophy and the conversations on difficulty naturally arise from there.

I think there may be more demand than you think. The difficulty polls help people to know how hard they are and get an average instead of people creating general threads how hard are the dlc trophies.

Well, it's just my observation, but even after the platinum difficulty threads, I still see more threads started about the difficulty of obtaining the platinum over those about the overall difficulty of the DLC trophies. Maybe I'm just looking at the wrong game forums, but I honestly have only seen this asked in the Mirror's Edge and Killzone forums.

If anything, I certainly don't think all of the games with DLC should get this poll. For the above mentioned ones, possibly.

I don't really see any threads asking about the platinum difficulty anymore, but anyway lets wait and see what other members think.

Usually a revision to the guide(for the DLC) is made, in which case people can take a peek at that and problem solved.....

They should pretty much be able to infer how difficult the DLC is from reading that hopefully.

If not, scroll down to the comments and see what feedback others have posted.

Final verdict for DLC difficulty poll: No

Well maybe there could be a trial poll in say the Call of Duty forum, or Mirror's Edge.

For me I don't think DLC difficulty threads would get much use. As mentioned above certain games may perhaps have response in a poll, especially those games that have a lot of DLC or very popular DLC.

Let the community decide, i'm happy for you to post a poll in two different game forum sections, choose one with a lot of popular DLC and one with a low amount of DLC to gauge the difference.

Before you create them, what are you going to say as the poll statement at the top of each of the poll threads. Something similar to the message olsen77 posts at the top of the polls he creates would be a good idea. Also let us know which games you have chosen as the two test polls.

Popular DLC - COD WAW
Not as popular or low amount of DLC - Motorstorm Pacific Rift.

Ok I have put DLC Trophy difficulty threads up for COD WAW map pack 2 and 3, Killzone 2 all 3 map packs - steel and titainium, flash and thunder, napalm and cordite. Also done the mirror's edge pure time trials and the motorstorm pacific rift DLC and today just added the challenge rooms DLC for Bioshock. Enjoy!
