With programming, there are tons of different languages and real discussion could be had if people were interested. I doubt the mods would be silly enough to lock a thread about programming in Java and tell everyone that they should use the existing C++ thread to discuss Java instead. And if they did, a simple PM to that mod or other mods to explain the difference should be enough to get the thread opened again. |

I voted no as well as it's just too specialised plus I don't think the demand is there.

I also went with no. Unless it's a programming forum to improve this site. Help out with bugs. Implement new features. Those sort of things. Then I'm for it.
Edit: Too many sites are run by one man/woman, and some sites won't even accept help. That is not the way to go with sites. (Not mentioning any, but I'm member on some other sites, and improvements takes forever...)
