![]() So with the announcement that the site's boosting threads will be undergoing a complete overhaul to make them more efficient, in order to do so, we would need the community's help. In an effort to make boosting threads more efficient, tips will now be included in the first post for easy viewing. No longer will you have to sift through pages and pages to look for that one particular method. This is where you guys come in. In order for tips to be added, we would need members to post them in this thread, so that they don't get ignored or overlooked elsewhere. Some things to keep in mind when submitting a tip(s):
Make sure the tip that you have posted or linked us to is in a easy to read and understandable format. Not only would it give us an easier time to tweak around with it in terms of format, but it would just be a simple task of copying and pasting. Last edited by BreadSkin; 02-15-2012 at 06:34 PM. |

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
How to Boost Experience in Multiplayer # of Players Needed : 6 People Setup Needed : Player Match, Alliance Preferred Perk : Resistance (Lv.27) DLC Package : 2.0 Anything Else? : Setting up a Text Chat is a good idea for Quick Communication/Player Invites Pre-Match Setup #1 - Once you get to the Multiplayer Menu, go to Options, then Downloadable Content, and make sure next to "Animus Project Update 2.0" that it says "On." If it doesn't, go down to it, hit and then toggle it to "On," then hit again. Now you're ready to boost.#2 - Host Only - The person hosting will go to Play, Player Match, Set the Game Mode to Alliance, and then select Create Group. From here, the host can invite others to boost. You can do this by either inviting people off of your Friends List, or, if you've created a Text Chat, invite them from there, by selecting Participants, going under each individual name, and sending them an invite from there. It's pretty straight-forward once you see it. Now, onto playing. Note: If people can't connect, keep inviting them until they get in. This game can be stubborn at times when it comes to player invites. #3 - DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT pick a character that has a cape. Characters with Capes have much smaller hitboxes, and are therefore harder to stun/lock onto. It will slow down the amount of XP anyone can get if you do pick one. Playing Guidelines #1 - Whenever possible, get some place high and flat. This is to avoid two problems: First, the crowd. Having a bunch of AI bumping into your boosting party. Second, if you're on a flat surface, there's no danger of you falling off. If you can't find an ideal place, try and find an open/walled off space so you have enough room to not be interrupted a lot by the AI. #2 - Break into 2 groups of 3, separate from the other group. It doesn't really matter who is in what group, but there has to be 1 member from each team in each group. The goal of boosting experience is to stun your pursuer, I.E. the person you're not contracted to kill. In order to do that, Hold , which is lock-on, and press which is stun. makes it easier to stun, and also gives you more experience points for performing a stun.#3 - What should be going on here is a 3 way stun rotation. You stun your pursuer, the person you're pursuing stuns you, and then your pursuer gets up to stun the person you're pursuing. This is where the Resistance Perk (earned at Level 27) comes into play, as it reduces your downed time from 7 seconds to 3 seconds as it will increase the amount of XP you can get per round by quite a bit. So once you get there, make sure you put it in your Profile Set. #4 - DO NOT KILL ANYONE BEFORE THE FINAL 10 SECONDS OF A MATCH. You're trying to maximize experience here, not kills or streaks. This also helps for the Strong Closer Trophy, if you want to pick it up along the way. Also, if any tension comes up, it can simmer a bit in-between rounds and matches. While Poison and Smoke Bombs may help you get kills at the end of a round, they aren't required for boosting. Using these tips, you'll earn at least 12,500 XP per match on average, where matches take 10 minutes to complete including loading times and start-up. So in an hour that's about 75,000 XP, meaning it should take no more than 8 hours of boosting to reach level 50. Fortunately for me, I was able to do this and get all the remaining multiplayer Trophies in 6 hours, 50 minutes, 26 seconds total. So, as you can see, there is a huge advantage to knowing what to do here. Information needs to be verified Last edited by Mendel; 09-20-2011 at 10:49 PM. |

Tekken 6 Let your partner take a win on a Ranked and a Player match and then it's your turn to take these wins. After you both have these two trophies, arrange so that one of you quickly beats the other in 26 more matches (no need for other wins anyway) to quickly reach the 30 online matches trophy. NARUTO Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 The boosting method is mentioned in the link below http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/nar...ing-guide.html Overlord II Take turns in winning 10 pirate plunder and 10 dominate matches with your partner. Just tell your boosting friend to sit tight when you win the match. In one of these matches kill your partner 20 times and then let him kill you another 20 to get the Adversary trophy. For the Dominate matches, catch as many domination points as you can with your minion. For the pirate plunder matches, use your minions to control the ship and then run over some gold to collect it. Once the timer is over, you win the match. Tom Clancy's HAWX General of the Airforce ![]() Become "General of the Airforce" (level 40). You need a total of 5 people to get this as fast as possible. Host a private match on NORMAL settings. The person that wants his XP boosted goes to a team with one more and pick the YF-12A with the T.O.P loadout. The other 3 on a second team. All the other 4 players must pick the SU-25 Frogfoot with the 100 Joint Strike Missile loadout. All planes must fly at an altitude of 10,000 meters flying in a straight line. The teammate of the person that has the YF-12A will be first with the three enemy players behind him. Finally the YF-12A will be last. Don't fly at a high speed so you don't have to turn very often. Now the three players will attack the other Frogfoot with all of their 100 missile. Now the YF-12A will use his Target Override Pod and deflect the missiles. This will give you many many experience points. When the enemy planes run out of ammo, they will suicide so their ammo is back. In 1 match of 15 minutes the player that used the T.O.P. had more than 800,000 xp!!! So in two matches you will get your trophy. After that change turns so all players get their trophy. That way you will also acquire the Deflector ace trophy. Sitting ducks ![]() Kill 2 enemies with Multi Target AA missiles while they are affected by your EMP strike. Requires at least 4 boosters and a plane with the Multi AA missiles. To get the EMP strike, it is better your team is way back on the score board. This mean you must be losing with more than 50 points. Then start getting kills and hope that you get the EMP strike. When you do, tell two of your boosters in the enemy team to fly very close in a low speed. Decrease their health down to 30. Equipt the AA missiles and after you deploy the EMP. For all the weapon kill trophies, they can be done in a 1vs1 match with only 1 booster, or be acquired as you boost other trophies. To make it even faster, you can both shoot the missiles at the same time while driving at the same straight line, so both of you get killed by the enemies weapons. Wing ace pilot ![]() Remain the Team Ace for a total time of 20 minutes. Wing leader ![]() Be the Match Leader for a total time of 20 minutes. Both of these trophies can easily be acquired with boosting with 2 or more players. Just tell everyone in the group to let you get the most kills and then wait for the match to end. If this is done right, in 2 matches you will have both of these trophies. Evasion ace ![]() Dodge 10 Radar-Guided missiles without using flares in multiplayer matches. Tell your partner to target you with a Radar Guided missile. Then once the missile heads towards you, your partner will turn the target away from you so the missile misses its target. Do this 9 more times to get the trophy. Support ace![]() Call in every support element at least once.
Counter support ace ![]() Complete all counter support challenges.
For these two trophies, the best you can do is to try and combine them. For example, whenever you get an EMP strike, save it until one of your partners gets an altitude limiter. You can't choose which to get so it's all about luck. The EMP strike, the AWACS and the Missile Suppresion are very rare to get. To have a chance to get one, your team must be behind on the score. James Cameron's Avatar Bring On All Comers! ![]() Complete 150 Multiplayer games. This trophy can be boosted solo. Normally it would take a lot of time to get this but there is a fast way to get the trophy in less than 3 hours. The main idea is to create a private match and start the game normally. When you spawn on the field you quit and you have one match played. Repeat this process 149 times. All the other online trophies of this game can be done in a Private Match with 2 people only. Central Focus ![]() Win 5 'King of the Hill' matches. For the points to start reducing you must first capture the central base and then the surrounding ones. Information needs to be verified: Please provide a source Ok two people confirmed Overlord and Avatar. As for HAWX How to get General very quickly! Sitting Ducks, Deflector Ace & Medic

Ghostbusters Tips for Gozers Most Wanted, Pay Day and Overachiever:
- Download and print off these checklists: Gozer's Most Wanted Checklist PayDay! Checklist Official Overachiever Requirements - Find a boosting partner. Gozer's Most Wanted: Follow this advice from Conceptfly: Quote:
.Payday: The only real advice for Payday I can offer is for the Protection mode: - Choose the Stasis gun as your primary weapon. - Don't catch and trap the ghosts in the 1st 2 waves else they'll keep spawning and attacking the poles. - Whilst you're doing the above, make sure you grab ALL the power-ups and keep grabbing them until they turn to Stasis ammo. - Once the Golem(s) appear in Wave 3, IMMEDIATELY hit it/them with the Stasis gun's secondary fire. Once the Golem(s) is/are frozen, keep pulsing the Stasis gun to keep it/them frozen. When you're almost out of ammo, immediately pick up some more and repeat the freezing process until the final pole is fully extended. Overachiever: All I can say for this is to keep trying and follow the above checklist. Each Post-match award counts as a separate award in each of the different game types. These trophies aren't that hard to get IF the servers play nice and people don't mess around Information needs to be verified

I've highlighted the information in the above posts that needs sources and/or needs to be verified by another person. If you have a link to a post in the boosting thread, guide or another thread, you need to include it with your post. I've already seen one boosting tip posted and then edited because the information wasn't correct, which is what we're trying to avoid.

on my way out the door, but here's a quickie:
PJ Shooter 2 One Giant LeapAdvance to a higher league through Online Battle. You need 7000 points total to get this trophy. Points are scored as follows: win a match you have bet on = 3000 points (10x what you would get otherwise) win a match with no bet = 300 points a draw = 300 points EACH a loss = 0 points (you won't lose any points) Simply swap DRAWS back and forth (for example, each of you can rescue 1 survivor in the match) for maximum points. You unfortunately won't be able to bet till AFTER you get this trophy... You've Got to Know When to Hold 'emWin an online battle you have bet on. This is not available initially, but once you get to the 2nd planet (when you earn the One Giant Leap trophy) you will have this option. If you paired up with your boosting partner, place a bet and have your boosting partner let you win - you get a win, a lot of points, and this trophy! EDIT: I don't have a source for this, can someone verify?
