They should have named this game FAR DRIVE 2, because you will spend the majority of the campaign traveling around from one end of the map to the other. As far as campaign difficulty I would say around a 3. You can get all single player trophies on easy difficulty and there is nothing too hard about that. Now multiplayer is ridiculous, not hard, just nearly impossible without boosting. If you don't have two or three good friends that are comitted to boosting with you, stay away from this game, because even with a serious boosting effort it took me a month to get multiplayer knocked out, and thats 4 to 5 hrs a day, five days a week. The game was fun. The strength of this game lies in its atmosphere, unique setting, and story. I enjoyed my time with this game, but I'm ready to move on to something new.

I'm sorry to say, but get over it. The game is not that hard. Yes, it is laggy and glitchy as fuck but it's doable. There are absolutely no hard trophies. If you're not dedicated or easily swayed by monotony, than yeah it'll be a 10 for you. But we're not rating it off of that hence the guideline: "Warhawk is time-consuming AND challenging. Resistance 2 is time-consuming- not hard." And that's all this is. It's just like Resistance 2, it has extremely high requirements for the online trophies but THEY WILL COME OVER TIME.

A fair rating for this would be a 6 or 7. Patience is virtue in this game.

Voting Guidelines

A time consuming game does not necessarily mean a difficult game so vote accordingly.
Examples;

• Warhawk is time consuming and difficult.
• Resistance 2 is time consuming, but not difficult.

Haha. Comparing this game's MP to Resistance 2 is silly. All you need to do in Resistance 2's MP is kill. No specific weapon usage, no multikills, no handgun requirement. If you had to do those things in Resistance 2 then the classic quote that you mentioned wouldn't apply. Getting multikills is difficult even when trying to boost properly because it takes a while and requires that your boosting partners are cooperating for an extended amount of time. In Resistance 2 all you need is 1 other person. In FC2 you need a few other people to boost several of the trophies. Plus you have to make sure that your stats are registering in between matches or they won't always count. And the quote says "not necessarily". It doesn't say "doesn't mean." If this game was a 6 or 7 then a lot more people would have this plat considering this game is over 3 years old. This game may not be a 10 to you, but put it in perspective to other FPS's that are out there and their trophy requirements. I could plat all of the CoD's in less time and with less frustration than it took to plat FC2.

You're taking my comparison too literal. I meant it as both are time-consuming, not hard. And getting multis isn't difficult either, but yes, your partners must be cooperative. Glad mine are or it would be annoying, not hard.

Have you even played this game or platted it for that matter? And if you have I'd love to hear your ratings of MW2 or W@W in comparison.

Played, yes. Platinum no. Me and my partners are very close though. And I hope this isn't turning into an argument as I'm not looking to start one, I'm merely stating MY opinion. As for MW2 and WaW I also have my own opinions, such as MW2 is extremely easy. The hardest part is Spec Ops which is easily solo-able (aside from the 2 coop ones). WaW, veteran...grenades...if it weren't for the 1001 grenades it would be a walk in the park. 45 Zeros is also a challenge but you can only mess up so many times until you get 45. Now, we got off-topic as this thread is for FC2. Like I said, and as you stated- it's merely an opinion. I personally found it easy as did my partners.

Fair enough. I have no problem with your opinion. I just find it silly when people use the quote that time consuming isn't hard when that's not what it says. When people rate games that average a higher score, a lower score I just become curious to see what they think other games', that are of the same genre, difficulty are. Good luck on the game, man.
