:) Glitched Rank 30 WITH Ubi's latest update :)

AS OF JANUARY 24, 2011 this glitch STILL WORKS!!!!


Okay, so this was discovered about 2 months ago and was kept secret because no one wanted it patched before they got the platinum.

I am "spreading the wealth" of knowledge about this after I had already spread it throughout all the boosting rooms on PSN I was involved in.

This does work and had been verified by me on October 14th or some time close to that date.

First off, if you want to platinum, you need to get to rank 20 and unlock all weapons manuals the legit or normal boosting way or through superboosting.

Okay, so now you have the rank 20 trophy and all manuals, here is the step by step.

*Disclaimer~ As I would do, and DID DO, I attempted this with a sub-account first, because you WILL be resetting your diamonds for this glitch to work.

Before Starting you have to follow these 3 rules:
The "Glitcher" NEVER NEVER hosts during these steps.
After the 1st round, the Glitcher gets absolutely ZERO points for the duration.
It must be done all in one run. (If starting at level 20 about 90 mins)


Step 1- Have at least 2 other players "in on this with you".
Step 2- Load up a game of Uprising in Last Bastion.
Step 3- Have 1 "sheep" let you kill them while the medic revives until you get 5k or better, then, medic captures all points and then kills you to end the match.
Step 4- While in the lobby before the next match, set 1, I repeat 1, diamond into any slot from your pre-game load-out.
Step 5- After the medic forces the launch and you see your load-out screen, RESET that diamond. Have the other team's captain capture the points and kill you to end the match.
Step 6- Repeat steps 4 & 5 until you have 0 diamonds left.
*Important note, you will need to leave the lobby every 5 matches so that the medic can restart the game to avoid engine failure message. While here you can check the game's stats and find yourself and around rank 4 or 5 you will see that you are in the negative xp.
Step 7- after the final diamond is reset and that match is won, wait for the lobby screen to load up.
Step 8- Once you're on the lobby screen, hold the PS button, then turn off the sytem.
*Your 2 "helpers" must stay in the lobby while you do this.
Step 9- Turn system on, reload game and rejoin the same lobby you're compadres are still in.
Step 10- *Ping!!!!*
Step 11- Bask in the glory of having just glitched a trophy and saving 50-60 hours of your life.

I highly, highly, recommend you try this on a 2nd account (obviously, you won't be concerned with lvl 20 trophy for this test run).

And finally,
I had ALOT I mean an @$$load of boosters that I worked with til rank 29 and then a few 10 or so, that worked together as a team effort to try and figure this glitch out. I am giving them a shout-out and my many, many thanks here.

Mutantx20 - among other things, introduced me to my first xp point in far cry 2 multiplayer.
angeleyes1911 - tried everything to figure out the glitch was one of my two "helpers" for both of the 2nd account and main account glitch.
noordinarybill - see angeleyes1911
nathan_f - spent countless hours with me working on this thing and was actually in the "pact" to superboost 1 Mil points LOL
Gabba2k9 - provided a "supersheep" for God knows how long and just generally a good guy
suck_it and his zombie - see Gabba2k9

Now just had to give credit where it was due.

I recommend doing this before Ubi figures out a patch to suck the soul out of gamers that think 150-200 hours of BOOSTING is ridiculous. (I won't even think about how many with NO BOOSTING)

And Before I forget, Yes I know that in order for you get "Soldier of Misfortune" (all manuals and upgrades) you HAVE TO apply diamonds.

If you have played enough, you have noticed that after a stint (about 6 hours for me and my fellow glitchers) the Ubi Servers will reset your diamonds and you will have to re-apply them.

DO NOT re-apply them. Just perform the glitch with them all in your "bank".

You MUST still get the 5000 xp in the 1st round to throw the servers off, just do not apply any of your diamonds until the 2nd round.

tell me about it, if only i had found this out sooner, then those 2 months of boosting wouldn't have been in vain xD, oh well it was a good summer i spent boosting

If I understand correctly the Glitcher is also the Killer. So which one is true : Killer gets 0 xp after 1 st round or 5000 xp? I am a bit confused..

I am now rank10 and I would like to try the glitch but I'm not sure about the results. This will give me both trophies for rank20 and rank30? Do I need to have all diamonds in the " bank" before attempting ?

Try it on a 2nd account. You are getting NEGATIVE XP so you will go back down the ranks until you end up with NEGATIVE and then when you come back on you'll be NEGATIVE 300 something which glitches the rank 30 trophy.

The glitcher is the killer for the 1st round only (5000 xp) then just stands around doing nothing the rest of the time. I thought it was explained easily enough.

exactly how did u figure this out? (you can leave out specifics if u prefer, im just curious as to how one stumbles across something this awesome)

Big thanks bro! Now is much clearer. I still have a lot of work to do but this is good news that I don't have to grind till rank30. This reminds me of the glitch to max rank in Wolfenstein LOL! It's amazing how ppl find flaws like that. U deserve an award like "Glitch Founder" or something like that!
