Just to clarify, correct me if I'm wrong, in order to submit a tropy guide to the site I have to...

1. Write the guide with correct grammar & spellings.
2. Create a thread in submit with my trophy guide.
3. Wait for a PM from one of the Guide Team giving me corrections & the "All clear" for me to put the guide on the game's forum page.
4. Put the guide on the game's forum page.

If that's wrong, please correct me. Thanks in advance.

Alright Moose, here's the deal:

• Unless you need help with a guide, the GT doesn't need advance notice. Once the guide has been submitted, we'll get involved, and if we see a guide being created that looks like it's going off the rails we may offer help, but there's no reason why we need to know ahead of time.
• I believe I mentioned it in the walkthrough, but you can only create a guide of you have the game or if you've played an earlier, identical port. The Fallout 3 DLC was fine because olsen had played through all of it already, but no one can make an Assassin's Creed 2 guide until they've played through most of it.
• If a guide has been stickied from this point forward, you will be receiving a credit for the guide.

I'll fix the link, and if it isn't being updated anymore, I'll just delete it. I agree, it would be nice to have it maintained, but with the speed in which games are being released,and due to our new rules, it may be too much to ask. To clarify on your other comment, as part of our new rules, any guides that haven't been loaded onto the site were unstuck, and in the case of some guides, they will need to be resubmitted. We only contacted authors if they have to resubmit their guide.

Close, but not quite. Create a guide thread in the game's forum with the completed trophy list (see step 3), write the guide, submit it when it's perfect, and then you'll either receive a pm with corrections, or your guide will be stickied, and you'll receive credit for it.

Ok hold on, I don't think I worded my question quite correctly on the not released game guide making deal. So let's take Castle Crashers for an example. It's out on the 360 and is coming to PS3. If I've played the game and know how to get all of the achievements/trophies and have gotten them on an Xbox, then can I make a guide for it now even though it hasn't come out to PS3 users yet? Or will I have to wait until it is available on the PS3 as well? Because I've technically played the game and know how to get all the achievements and such so I'm fully knowledgeable on how to get 100%.

Why would you make a guide for a game that is due out next year? It's a valid example, but by using common sense you'd see that there's no need for a trophy guide for a game that isn't going to come out for at least three months. If anyone has played Castle Crashers, Braid, Peggle, or any other 360 game that is coming to the PS3, then at least wait until the game is near release before posting it. Wait until we have a trophy list (in case there are differences between the trophies and achievements...which is possible).

That's just the first example that came to mind, I'm not making a guide for it now. So is it safe to say that in an instance like Castle Crashers, if I can write a quality guide for the game, the trophy list has been released, and it's a few weeks away from release, I can make a guide for it?

Okay, I just seen a few of you complaining the "Games that need a guide" thread isn't up to date, so I spent the last hour compiling an up to date list, and just PM'd it to Olsen. Hopefully that can then be updated soon

I actually offered to do it for the GT yesterday and they just told me today that they would take care of it, but I hope that they use your list to update it.

It almost killed me. It took a hell of a lot longer than I thought it would. I still need to do the PSN list though, but I'm doing it tomorrow - just making sure I didn't do anything wrong with the Retail batch first - or else I would have a lot of extra work to do
