Rescue from Paradise...

Ok, so I didn't do this quest as "help" for the mainquest (as I managed to use "speech" to get in to little lamplight) and now Im at the Paradise Falls and trying to activate the quest.

BUT the kid Im supposed to start the conversation with (Sammy) is outside the Paradise falls (in the way to the entrance) and if I steal the key to the cages and try to talk directly to "Squirrel" ... then he wont say anything else than something like "damn yah big ass is ugly"

And if I try to go to the little lamplight again and talk to the Major, I cant get the quest anyway.

Anyone that knows what Im supposed to do? EXCEPT restart or try another save.

You have to talk to them through the cage first, thats what I did.

Or if your having problems you could always start a new game then run straight to little lamplight or paradise falls then try to do the quest again.

I had the same problem at first. I went and talked to Eulogy Jones, the leader of the slavers, and asked him about the kids from little lamplight. This presented several options, such as buying them, fighting the slavers for them etc... After this I went back to the kids and they told me of their escape plan.

Perhaps this is what you need to do. Good luck.

But as I said, the problem for me is that the kid Im supposed to talk to is not in the cage, he's outside... and there he only says "If we talk they will shoot me" .. then he goes in to the "Paradise" through the gate, and then he gets stuck in the gate loading... so I cant do anything.

Ok, this thread can be closed ... I'll explain how I did as I now managed to get the quest and trophy (if someone else gets this problem).

I went totally apeshit and killed all the slavers. I started with killing the 2 that were outside
Then ran to Sammy and talked to him, then he says something and I get the quest, I go inside the Paradise and kill everyone who's there, then I get the key from the pad, then run to the cage, open the door (might have to talk to them) Then they will run outside and meet you. There you talk to them and the quest is cleared.

just go in kill slaver and set them free, you will pass the mission then

Yeah, thats what I did, however It dont say that you can do it and after that activate the quest.. I thought you had to activate the quest first, before going rampage.

Naaa, one of my friends said he went apeshit on paradise and forgot all about the kids. Went back the next day(rescue wasnt even in his pipboy) released the kiddies and got the trophy
