Not much of a story but its ok.
Good but glitchy. Basically you go around adding places to your map for fast travel use and do missions and side missions. There are also 20 bobbleheads to collect which perk your characters abilities.
They work fine no real problems that i can think of. Besides your character is very awkward and will sometimes get stuck on things in the environment.
Ok, but people look bad.
Good when its not messed up because of glitches.
Wow Factor: 7
Some cool moments nothing amazing.
Replay Value: 8
Trophies and different experiences make it worth it to go back.

Story:The story itself is rather brief, however this game isnt just about the main story its about the experience itself.
Gameplay:Gameplay is well done it also offers you the ability to play in either 1st or 3rd person. "VATS" is a nice addition to standard combat and its quite humorous to see your enemies splattered into bits in slo-motion
Controls:The controlls itself are not bad they are pretty standard affair, not too clunky but not really smooth either.
Graphics:The graphics are pretty well done, not the most amazing thing ever but improved over Bethesda's last entry Oblivion.
Sound:Sound is ok the soundtrack is very well placed and 3Dogg is pretty amusing at times.
Wow Factor: Well this game has it from the moment you first set foot outside vault 101 to the time you venture into the capital mall and see the capitol building in ruins its a very emotional experience.
Replay Value:Is this even a question? replay when you can easily put 150+ hours into one round is there really a need to replay? Of course there are many choices on how to play this game so you could always try a different character type or karma choices.
Multiplayer Experience: NADA and that is absolutley perfect.
Rent Or Buy This Game?Buy it, maybe twice like i did. It would be very tough to plat this game out in a rental. I would definitely suggest getting the GOTY edition as you will get all 5 of the add-ons.
Your Personal Verdict & Your Final Rating: 10, this title is so much more than just a game its an experience and IMO this isnt only one of the best games of this console generation its one of the best games ever made.

Story: It's not what kept me playing the game. But it was a good story that was easy to understand. 8.5
Gameplay: 10. Perfect. After a few patches the game worked excellently for me. The gameplay is good. You literally will never run out of things to do in this game. The map is just about perfect. The whole level up system is beyond perfect. The role you can play is fucking perfect. The whole thing is perfect.
Controls: Good, not really any complaints here. Nothing to fancy. And nothing so fancy it's to hard to understand. 10
Graphics: Fine. You can ask for anything better for a game on FOs scale. 8
Sound: 10. I could hear footsteps 20 feet behind me after I ranked up so high and stuff.
Wow Factor: If I could vote 11 I would. But I'll leave it at 10. The 1st day I played this game I was like "wow all I do is die, wtf." 2nd day "HOLY SHIT, I found a fucking lead pipe. These bitches are dead" I mean that's what I basically did the 1st 2 weeks. I had no idea what I was doing AND IT FELT AWESOME. It was a feeling I have never felt in any other game. The best WOW factor ever. Finding Deathclaws and seeing Enclave members, to finding all sort of secrets and goodies.
Replay Value: 10. Every replay, you'll find something new you missed the time before.
Rent Or Buy This Game? Buy. You'll NEVER be able to get the full affect from this game by renting. Never.
Overall 11 outta 10 . Hands down, the best game I think I have ever played. And that's coming from the worlds biggest GTA fanboy. The adventure literally never ends. I have 3 level 30 accounts and I still yet to find every little secret, easter egg, and just stuff like that in this game. I mean you can play this thing like I did nonstop for 6 months 6 hours a day and still find something new everyday. I mean that is something I have never seen in another game. Best, Game, I, Have, Ever, Played.

Clearly not the main focus of the game, the story is serviceable but mostly uninteresting. More importantly, though, than the actual story is the storytelling, which Bethesda kind of stinks at.
Brilliant and wonderful, the freedom of the gameworld and the specificity of your character-building is almost unrivaled.
I don't put much stock in controls (they would have to be absolutely terrible for me to have a problem with them) so this isn't so much a 10=amazing as 10=no problems.
At the time of release, this game was about the prettiest thing I had ever seen. One of the best things about my first playthrough was wandering the wastes and finding a spot of elevation, then just looking out at the desolation in front of me. Finding a spot looking southeast was especially satisfying, assuming you catch a glimpse of the broken Washington Monument somewhere in the distance. Still, not a technically perfect game. People models are dull, faces are mechanical, etc.
This the main reason that Fallout 3 jumped from being a great game to one of the best games I've ever played. The radio station was an amazing idea, and almost single-handedly made me a fan of 1940s-1950s music culture. These songs are still stuck in my head years later. Add to that a wonderful, atmospheric score should you choose to turn the radio off, and the fact that every character is well voiced (though the use of only a handful of voice actors is very obvious)
Wow Factor: 5--10
Let me explain: as I mentioned in the graphics part, the real Wow here are the small moments when you look out at this wonderful world and realize that it is all there for your taking. That is the Wow of Wows in my opinion. But unfortunately, the storyline progression and most of the side quests are decidedly un-Wowsers. Nothing that happens in the storyline missions is impressive or affecting.
Replay Value: 8
With so much to do, and so many ways to play, this game can take over your life. I've got 3 characters and over 200 hours total. That said, I think I'm done. I doubt I will be returning to the Capital Wasteland any time soon, as I feel I have taken all I can from this game. In a good way
Thankfully, there is none.
Rent Or Buy This Game? Buy
Definitely. This game needs as much time as possible to truly reveal its mysteries.
Your Personal Verdict & Your Final Rating: 10
Possibly my all-time favorite game, Fallout 3 was one of those life-changing gaming experiences that only happen every once in a while. It blew me away and stole my soul.

Story: Definitely not the reason to play Fallout 3. While the story is good, it's not tremendous. 7/10
Gameplay: The gameplay is flawless excluding the glitches that come with the PS3 version 8/10
Controls: Great controls that are really easy to pick up on. 10/10
Graphics: Could have been better on character animations, but the wasteland can be absolutely breath-taking. 9/10
Sound: Not amazing, but not bad either. 7/10
Wow Factor: The 'wow factor' is definitely present. The game has several moments that left me amazed. 10/10
Replay Value: With so much to explore, the replay value on this game is as high as any other game. 10/10
Multiplayer Experience: N/A
Rent Or Buy This Game? Buy. With 100+ hours of gameplay at the minimum it seems pointless to rent.
Your Personal Verdict & Your Final Rating: One of the best games on the PS3 and of all time. 10/10

The game was extremely fun and i was able to get platinum fairly easy but there is a ridiculous amount of dlc's for this game there should a be a bundle with a major discount but i doubt it will get within the range of what I would like to play so I'll settle for platinum with no dlc's but still one of my favorite games.

Story: the story wasn't bad, but it's nothing to really write home about...7
Gameplay: I really enjoyed the gameplay. The VATS combat system (if you choose to use it) is a great and unique alternative to traditional FPS type combat. 9/10
Controls: unobtrusive...easy to get used to
Graphics: the graphics really make you feel like you're in a post-apocalyptic setting as intended. 9/10
Sound (Gameplay): nothing spectacular, but nothing obtrusive.
Sound (Music): the "radio stations" are rather limited, and the radio stations do get quite repetetive in a 30+ hour playthrough...the old-timey music seems quite appropriate for the setting, it just could've used some more variety instead of looping every 15 minutes or so (possibly sooner, I never timed it)
Wow Factor: WOW...this game was just simply amazing.
Replay Value: there's so much to explore and do in this game that a single playthrough could easily go in excess of 100 hours. That said, a 2nd playthrough with different karma choices (or a kill-everything approach) is entertaining as well
Multiplayer Experience: n/a
Rent or Buy this Game? buy it. play it.
Your Personal Verdict: The game itself was fantastic. Once major let-down though came with the DLC...a lot of the DLC content is quite buggy and sometimes frustrating. At this point i think the GOTY edition including all the DLC is $20 or so, so it's definitely worth it.
Final Rating: Fallout3 (only) - 10/10 DLC: 6/10 (due mainly to the bugs...I would definitely not buy the DLC from the store at $9.99 a pop either, but worth playing if you can live with the bugs and got the GOTY edition)

Story: 7/10 - The story is alright but is nothing special. The story doesn't really improve until you get all the DLC installed.
Gameplay: 7/10 - The gameplay is ace but copious bugs ruin the experience .
Controls: 9/10 - The controls are great for the most part but occasionally they like to screw up, thus forcing you to reload an old save to fix them.
Graphics: 8/10 - The graphics are good but haven't dated terribly well.
Sound (Gameplay): 9/10 The sound effects are good though I would have liked a little more variety.
Sound (Music): 8/10 - Again there are some good tune tunes but most of the good stuff is on the in-game radio stations. The Background music you hear when the radio isn't on is good but lacks variety.
Wow Factor: 7/10 - The wow factor for this is high but the bugs ruin it .
Replay Value: 9/10 - The replayability factor is really high but because of how long one playthrough will take you, it'll be a while before you do play it again.
Multiplayer Experience: N/A
Rent or Buy this Game? Rent it first to see if you can live with the bugs then buy the GOTY Edition if you do decide you can live with the issues this game has.
Your Personal Verdict & Your Final Rating: Use the Poll!
I would love to give this a 10/10 but the shear number of bugs this game has puts a major dampener on things so it only gets a 7/10 .
