My Final Straw

That's it. I am DONE with quick match online. $%^* it. It is so broken that I have nothing to compare it to. I have tried to put up with it but literally every second race I am being run off the road.

Now noobs and idiots are everywhere as we all know and although it is a pain to deal with them that is not my major annoyance. That would be the penalty system. WHO in their right mind would do a finicky system like this when they know DAM WELL that there is truck loads of lag online.

Being run off the road by a 10 year old just for YOU to receive a penalty is unbearable. But for it to happen two times in one race is UNFORGIVABLE! Caused an accident?? What? You mean my front fin in the stands and my right rear option on Jupiter while the rest of the field could not care less? ohhh right I see what you mean game. I am TOTALLY at fault.

5 10 second'ers in 4 races and NONE made any sense. I AM DONE. I will still race in the league as it seems to be full off the last dozen sensible people on the planet. I understand it is a really tense game and passing requires a lot of skill. But penalties for you getting owned has no place in online gaming.

2012 better be better otherwise Codemasters will hear from one angry customer. The funny thing I am writing this post 2 days after my last online race and I am still all riled up.

As happy I am by that thought. It means s*** all when they win the race and I am 15 seconds back WITH a 20 second penalty.

Hmmm, wonder who that was?

But that is what people will do online. Yes, people do drive the wrong way in Sprint mode. The question that you have got to ask these people is: why did you buy the game if all you are going to do is crash into others, ruin online for everyone else and basically ruining your own online experience? I don't get it.
