Just got my wheel yesterday, so starting now im using wheel aswell

What's your tactic in Valencia then that you are not allowed to use?

I use controller, thought about getting wheel + peddles, but just think it will be wierd LOL. Buy yeah, it definitely gives you an advantage maybe a second? Would be interesting to see if Threnzy can repilicate those amazing times he gets with a controller... Then again Balding uses controller and his times aren't too shabby

One thing i must ask to all wheel users, where does it go? Does it sit on your lap?

My wheel is on a makeshift desk. I sit on a sloped back chair & my legs go underneath tthe desk to the pedals and the wheel is bolted to the desk so it doesn't move. The desk is very low though so my seating position is sloped, a bit like in a real F1 car. It is much more fun that using an analogue stick!

The main difference with a wheel is that cornering is SO much easier. With a stick, turning is jerky and twitchy. You can ease the car in and out of turns much better with a wheel and generally have much better control. I highly recommend a wheel to anyone. EDIT: Actually, that might be why Balding gets so many corner cutting warnings.

Also Balding, don't do anything stupid at Valencia.

We use a desk, or atleast i do. But i use a controller on competitive racing, i find it easier
I dont think wheels gain an advantage, just makes you more consistant when you're used to it.

LOOK for everyones information if im not allowed to barge remco off the track to gain a place then i should have the race win from canada because remco barged me off everytime he took a position off me its not fucking rocket science

I use a wheel, no pedals, only got it for £20 in 2010, and it still works

I use the flappy paddles on the back for accelerating and braking, and use my thumb on the L1 + R1 buttons for changing gear, I sound awkward, but I've got used to it and find it quite easy, but taking a medium speed left hander with about 2-3 downshifts can be a bit awkward sometimes (second to last corner on the hungaroring for example)

As for the race in Valencia, I don't there are any annoying walls I can crash into, so it shouldn't go too badly.

Unless the Safety car glitches again AND MY DAMN PIT CREW PUT THE RIGHT BLOODY TYRES ON THE CAR, they put inters on, and not options in canada

Even people who DNF'd and were spectating you in Canada said the racing was overall clean and there was no major contact.

You seem to have it in for Remco... if you end up hitting him in Valencia you're just gonna give a yet another simple win to Threnzy. Also with the tight walls, contact is likely to cause a pile up so please be sensible. Don't want another race where the SC makes a big impact.
