He says he's in the low 1.09's but in the 2 practice races ive done with him he did mid 1.08's qualifying laps. In offline grand prix mode i can get mid to high 1.08's but in the practice races ive had the car feels totally different on the same setup and I am in the mid to low 1.09's in qualifying trim. Is there any other cars spare apart from the torro rosso because I am paranoid it is glitched, my setups that I work on during the week feel like shit in this thing.

As for the race, I don't know where I am qualifying wise, but in the practice race, I was able to keep up with Balding, started gaining on him aswell, I need to be careful in turn 1 when my tyres are worn, made that mistake the other day.

Just been doing 50% in mix 2 and it was down to optimal by lap 15, and -1 by about lap 23. There was a little bit of mix 1 in there too. So much bullshit it's unreal.

How are your times? I'm pretty much just nailing the 1:10.00 mark.

My best in quali is a 1:09.0, on primes, FL in race is a 1:09.6 I think. On options.

If you did want to change you'd have to team up with someone, anyway there's no point because this is the last race
You were really quick in practice too
And yeah, the Renault & STR are glitched. In the way that exactly what you have said is the bug. Think you can solve it, not sure how though.

Oh it was in practise (on primes). Although I did a race-style lap (only using DRS in the zone) on options and the time was the same.

Qualifying

didn't bother, never do and also knew everyone would be doing low 1 09s or better and my best this week has only been high 1 09s and I have also had tyre wear issues all week so thought I would try and conserve the tyres.

Race

started well but got tapped by Rob at turn 1 and spun (probably my fault as was trying to take the inside to catch a few people unaware) slowly started catching him over the next few laps and at one point was right on his exhaust but Rob blasted away from me and never really got close again.

Got pretty bored as was always racing by myself, got stuck behind Threnzy in the pit lane as we both came in at the same time, although pretty glad I didn't hold him up as I was clearly the slowest again today.

Next lap I noticed a Ferrari closing in on me as I looked behind and suddenly lost control of the car and hit the wall which ended my race and I suspect caused a safety car, sorry if this messed up anybody's strategy or race position.

All in all I have enjoyed parts of this season but am way to slow to compete with you guys and not sure whether I will continue racing again, but at the end of the day I only race for fun and to be honest 75% of this season has not been that enjoyable due to being too slow to compete and get pretty bored racing by myself week in week out. If the game did a 107% rule then I wouldn't even make the grid.

Wow.. That was tension.

Quali: Best i could do for what was 0 practice laps, half a tenth off pole.

Race: Got vox in T1, led most of the first few laps. Vox and I touched, half spinning me. Down to 4th. Scything through the field again ON LEAN FUEL blahblahblahetcetcetc

When the SC came out, i was side by side with vox, who just pitted, but i was that TINY bit ahead. We all pitted for inters. Bear in mind I needed 5th place to beat vox in the championship..I was effectively in 6th the whole race. Me & Warlord were both going to go the end on that set of tyres.. I was obviously slower than him so i pitted..
Lap 60-69: (gap to LL) 5.2, 5.0, 4.9, 4.6, 4.5, 3.1, 2.9, 2.8, 2.5, 1.9...
BUT Warlords tyres go off the cliff forcing him to pit.
So with 2 laps to go, i get to my 5th place. Remind you of the '08 championship?

Had a great time guys, thanks for the excellent season. This is my second 3rd place finish in the two leagues so I'm happy with that.
