No 1 driver

Hey there, just a quick question if I may.

I'm in my third season at Ferrari having spent 2 at Lotus, and in order to get the remainder of the single player trophies, I NEED to get offered a contract as a Red Bull driver before the season ends, so I've put it on medium with only a few aids to ensure I get 1st in every race.

I'm currently the number 2 driver at Ferrari, and I'm thinking I may get offered the nuber 1 position soon, seeing as I've been getting consistant 1sts and Alonso is doing shite


My question is: If I accept the offer of becoming the number 1 driver, will it affect my chances of getting a contract at another team before the year ends? Will it decrease the chance of an offer, or even increase it possibly?

if u have gotten contract with ferrari saying #1 driver, i think that means for next season.
if i were you if you havent got it yet, get to season 6 and get all trophies except #1 then join HRT as #1

Thanks for the reply, I should have mentioned that the single player trophy I'm going for is Hot Property. I need to get a place at Red Bull, but I need to balance winning races to impress Red Bull, with making sure Red Bull come ahead of Ferrari (my team) in the constructors.

What I'm doing is getting as many wins as possible, but also ensuring that Red Bull come 2nd and 3rd, so that Red Bull isn't too far behind in the constructors once I get offered a place there. Once the Red Bull offer comes in, I'll crash out every race after that, taking out anyone who threatens to get 1st or 2nd instead of Red Bull. This way they'll be ahead of Ferrari in the constructors, then I can accept the offer and net the trophy.

That appears to be the way to do it.... try to 'manage' the constructors situation so that once you have an offer, you can turn crash out to allow them to go ahead in the constructors... i am not sure of the trophy pops when you accept the offer, or at the end of the season, so be careful with that.

Cheers for the advice! It's all going to plan at the moment. I've got the contract offer, turned autosave off, I've won the championship, and I've got 3 races to go, with Red Bull 58 points behind Ferrari (my team). Now all I've got to do is crash into Hamilton, Alonso, Button, and anyone else to ensure it's a Red Bull 1-2 every race.

I just REALLY hope that Red Bull don't retract my contract offer after seeing so many last place disqualifications

JOB DONE. I got scared when all the teams (even HRT) retracted their contract offers and I got red segments in the team pie chart lol, but because I beat my rival Webber, they kept the offer till the end. I got REALLY scared when after crashing Hamilton, Alonso and Button out of the Abu Dhabi race, the Geordie team engineer yelled "COONGRADYOOLEEYASHOONS MEEYAT! YAV WUN THA COONSTROOCTAS CHAMPYANSHIP!" O_O But it was a glitch, my team finished 13 points behind Red Bull. HE LIED.

Nevermind though. Got the trophy, and I'm in the Red Bull team for my 4th season, which should be my third championship win and the expert championship win if I play my cards right

Yip it's purely down to beating your rival. Just pick a rival from whatever team you want to race for. Beat them and the jobs done.
