I have the platinum for this game and I can agree with those that say the online portion of the trophies is a pain. Not easy at all. It took me many many hours of boosting to platinum this game. SP trophies are a breeze.

If you want a platinum for this game I suggest starting a chat room and finding people who also want the platinum and coordinate the boosting from there. That is how I did it. |

3.
I mean, there is nothing, absolutly nothing, that makes this game hard. The offline mode is very cool, if u have experience in FPS and u like the gendre u will enjoy it so much and u will have no difficult on get every trophy during the very first playtrhrough. And there is absolutly nothing hard about the online trophies, that are all boostables, the only (GREAT) problem is that to get 1million xp u have to play at least (and i say AT LEAST) 130 hours the same boring stuff!!! And most people will, for sure, give up after 8-10 hours i guess... thats the only thing that make this an hard platinum.

Nooo... GTA online dont take so long as this and is not this boring! I gave 6 to GTA, i mean... i use also to give 9 (Mirror's Edge) and 8 (Mercenaries 2, WET), but only if a game require a great skill, when a game require only time, but is easy, well... ok u can give one point more for time consuming, but i dont agree if u give an high rate only for that reason. Anyway, i tell u this... they had to make this plat very shorter than AT LEAST 150 TOTAL hours, we everybody can agree on this... period

The game itself is designed to heavily discourage boosting. Even if you get enough people together to get a boosting session going, getting a game started can be a very frustrating task. All it takes is one person to refuse to leave and continue to join your games over and over to ruin a whole day. The FEAR community itself -- which was never that large to begin with -- continues to shrink. While all of the trophies are boostable, trying to earn many of them legitimately is very difficult unless your opponents are beyond retarded. If you were to start playing legitimately today, I'd be willing to bet that the servers would close long before you got the million points needed to platinum. It's incredibly boring, too. Armored Front is the most efficient way to boost, and you're still looking at a 200+ hour commitment (once you factor in all the time you waste trying to get boosting sessions started in the first place) doing something that's about 100X more boring than GTA's "Wanted" noose grinding ever could be. As you've said, most people quit out of sheer boredom very early, making it difficult to keep a group of dedicated boosters together. The 8-10 ratings are absolutely deserved, not because of the actual difficulty of the game, or because of the time commitment, but because of all the shit you have to endure for 200 hours trying to get all the online trophies. gave it an 8. Only way to get this is to boost for a long time, unless you want to do it legit, which means that if you only play deathmatch (for example) you have to get about 140.000 kills (in others words, its impossible without boosting).
