Online issues

The first time i played a ranked online game, my PS3 froze like 10 seconds into the match. When I reset the console and tried again, I kept getting messages telling me that I've lost connection to the server. After 15 attempts on a ranked server match, i've only been able to start once and it ended in my PS3 freezing.

What is going on? and is anyone else getting these issues?

Also, I noticing that there are very few people playing online. LoTR conquest had more people and rooms than this game.

Yeah ive had freezing problems with fear2-and also noticed that for a new big name game-theres hardly not many playing-hope they patch the freezing

I finally got into a server and right as I spawned for the first time, i got booted and the message said that I was disconnected from the server. Now when I join a game, it says that I've been kicked from the server.

I can't believe Monolith shiped such a glitchy product, it's inexcusable.

EDIT: Okay, it froze on the loading screen this time, fuck this shit.

I didn't have a problem, but it did take 5-6 mins to fill the room.

Haven't had any freezing problem. But there are literally only a handful of servers. Most likely, more people picked up the PC and 360 versions hence why the online segment is so bare. So, get those online trophies while people are still playing, because it probably won't stay that way for long.

The online is terrible. It's amusing that they think we will actually play this game legitimately to reach the highest rank. Pathetic.

Yeah, the online is terrible. And even I do have the freezing problem, I'm just lucky if I can get online sometimes.

This game's just begging for a patch : / I like the gameplay itself, I've played the original FEAR multiplayer for quite some time and I'm not disappointed with the new one, but freezing every third time I try to play, disconnecting during the match, occasional lags.. It just destroys the whole experience. Not to mention having to look for a new game after every match.

I gave up on the game. It's just not worth earning multi-player trophies when there's better games out there.
