How much does it cost to get a 360 repaired by Microsoft?

Wondering because I'm thinking of getting my 20GB repaired so that I can use it for boosting and as a DVD player.

I dunno actually. All my repairs have been free, thanks extended 3 year warranty!

• $119.00 plus tax if you call Xbox Support and have a support agent create the repair order for you

When you send your console to our service center for repair, we test your console for three flashing red lights or an E74 error. If your console does not exhibit three flashing red lights or an E74 error, and you are out of the standard one-year Product Warranty, you can have your console repaired for a fee or choose to have your console returned to you unrepaired.

So $100 assuming that you can handle a simple online form. Also I found this too:

• Out-of-warranty service: If your Xbox 360 console was serviced out of the original warranty period, your serviced console will have a one-year warranty.

1 year warranty if you pay for a repair? Fucking nice! Definitely beats that time I paid Sony $150 to get the faulty blu-ray drive in my 60GB replace and it came back with a puny 90 day warranty.

If you live in the US and can find a Play N Trade in your area, they can repair it for cheaper and takes less time because of no shipping back and forth.
Although this won't renew your warranty, so only do it if the above sounds more appealing/your warranty ran out.
