Killing George

my mates and I killed George today and we never got the trophy or the perk that it gives you when you do twat him back the the water.

Anyone got any ideas to why this didnt happen?

Did you actually kill him or just shoot him with a PAP VR-11?

We had the scavenger upgraded and the ray gun upgraded and his light changed to a red colour then he said something then disappeared into the water mumbling something.

it sounds like you killed him. I guess its possible that the trophy glitched

I've noticed George holds different things, not always lights. You have to kill him when he's holding theatrical lighting.

If you shoot George with a Pack-a-punched Scavenger while he's in the water, he'll go underneath the water and disappear for a few rounds. He's not dead, he's just out of your way for a few rounds.

my brother killed him with the upgraded scavenger while george was in water, it's the VR11 that makes him go away
