Confirmation that Chapter 9 has ONE GLITCHED ORB

There is a difference in missing an orb and seeing it disappear in front of your own eyes. People aren't just so eager to blame glitches of not finding some orbs if they really are having glitches...

I've probably been on the 9th chapter for over 3 hours now. I have manage to find all tech orbs and masks on every level, on my own, by simply fine tooth combing the maps. But this isn't the case for chapter 9. Regarless how thorough I am with this level, I only have 98% of the orbs. I tried using this video guide, but every spot the guy goes to, I went and still can't get 100% orbs in this one level. Could it be possible the game glitched on me and I have already collected all the orbs, but it didn't register one or two on the percent screen? This is very frustrating cause that would mean I would have to play the whole game over and this is the last trophy I need to platinum this game.

I found them. The very last 3 orbs you get with the dog chase in chapter 9. I've grabbed 1 and didn't realize I missed other 2. I have the platinum now. And yes, some orbs have disappeared on me too and I've seen them when I went through each level in chapter select.

Its glitched for me in the same place too. I remeber when i played second time i thouthg "how coud i miss it?" and i collected it. Now i played third time ant that orb still in the same place, i collected it but it didnt count.
I just played a fifth time and i collected it through the wall.

Just because you guys got it, it doesn't mean it isn't glitched. When it is glitched, it means it sometimes just disappear for no reason, it comes back the next time you play through the level, and there is something that makes it disappear, but I personally can't tell why.

I'm not sure if this is glitched or not, or if the game is glitched for me, but I've gone through this level with a youtube guide twice and I still got 99%. I will check this glitched trophy and tell you guys if this was the case for me too! =o

Look at this video, at 5:35, this guy seems to be place a little extra clip in his movie. Maybe he missed one on his first attempt and wanted to add it without having to re-do the entire level again? What makes me curious is that this is the exact same orb as described as being glitched. :s

I am 100% positive I checked for this orb in my last playthrough, because I followed the above guide, I even remember he had pasted a little extra clip exactly there, which is why i found it. If I do find the orb there now..... urgh, the I am extremely positive there are glitched orbs in this game! >:\

It wasn't the one he pasted into the clip! It was one right side exactly before he goes down there. (more like exactly 5:35 or 5:34 or something!) Probably the one described as the glitched orb. I KNOW I WENT THERE 3 TIMES AND IT WASN'T THERE!!!!!!!! >:\

DUMB GLITCHED ORB! yes, it can be glitched and still be gotten, it just means it turns invisible, probably not loaded, which is extremely typical of the unreal 3 engine. Just pause the game straight after loading a new chapter. You will see the graphic load. Alpha Protocol has the exact same problem, though there it takes 15 seconds or much more sometimes for stuff to load. I've seen videos on youtube where for example Monkey doesn't appear for some seconds in one of the first movie clips. It usually appears, but sometimes not. I'm thinking it MIGHT be the same problem! =\

Yeah its definitely glitched.
I was stuck at 99% and the one I was missing was the glitched orb. It didn't appear first so I restarted checkpoint and made sure I got there as fast as possible and sure enough it was there.
To anyone saying it isn't glitched, it is - a glitch does not affect everyone everytime, that would be a major fault in the game.
I definitely didn't accidentally miss it as when it did appear, it is right next to the ramp you go up, and is almost impossible to miss.

That damn orb glitched on me the first time I played the level, but luckily on the second playthrough it appeared. I needed the timed dog chase trophy anyways, so it wasn't a big deal. Another orb glitched on me in Chapter 3, too.

Any one else know of anymore glitches with these?

I can confirm that the one in 3 DOES glitch out, trick is to grab it before the load/save icon shows (counts as a new area i guess).

Gonna see if 9 glitches out...also may i ask, can this PREVENT a platinum or will all other's eventually come back?

I'm not sure why this man was banned, but he deserves a damn medal. I followed JeffDawes1984's tech orb videos for every chapter to get 100% and ran into the 99% glitch in Chapter 9. I tried walking through the level again with his videos two more times but never found anything extra...

So I Googled, found this thread, read through it, followed the instructions, and voila... look what I found:
