Confirmation that Chapter 9 has ONE GLITCHED ORB

i must be really unlucky. i had all so far confirmed glitches. At level 3 it picked up the tech but the count did not registered. on level 9 tech was not there 3 times but was at the fourt try. and now i am stuck on level 5 - 99%. i have all levels at 100% except level 5. yes i'm missing only one, i've searched everywhere and it is not there. Yes i did blow up the boat at the beggining. I tried deleting game data but it does not work so far.

Any advice would be welcome, short off starting a new game and collecting them again.

there are videos available for the first 10 chapters now (i think), so i would just get the tech orb videos & go through the chapter very slowly copying everything done in the video

Yep none of the orbs are glitched. They're just well hidden. I gave up on the hunt a month ago and just restarted again last night, only to find out how well hidden those darn last orbs were. Now finally I have the platinum for my troubles. So just keep checking every nook and you too will find those troublesome ones.

In the section where you have to get to an start a vehicle, there's a large container right at the beginning. (This is the section right before you get to the fight with the dog.) Look inside it and there should be a cluster of orbs that can be easily missed.

I have had similar experiences as above. That particular tech orb was not glitched for me, actually i didnt have any glitches. this and other threads sort of scared me, i spent a lot of timeon these orbs before hearing there are some glitched ones. but thankfully, with the help of anothers site's tech orb guide, i got 100% on most levels my second time through. i got the platinum too, so it is safe to say the game is not glitched. buuutt, i still dont have the dlc trophies listed on my trophy collection, because ive never been online with the game on.

Wrong. The orb described here is glitched, that's 100% confirmed by many people, including me. It doesn't always glitch every time, hence the reason the plat is still attainable. On my normal and hard playthroughs however, it didn't appear. When I finally found it I thought 'how the fuck did I miss that one', as it was so damn obvious.

Suprisingly, I've completed the most troublesome levels without encoutnering those glitches...or maybe I did but I missed so much orbs first time that I have to replay some levels several times, maybe that's why I got those "glitched" orbs without even noticing. I stuck with 98% on 2 and 7 levels and after 4 replays each I still can't find those damn orbs.

Oh it's defiantly glitched at chapter 9. I've played through that chapter multiple times without the glitched trophy appearing and I even knew where to look, as i looked at two different tech orb guides and the video guide.

It's fine if lots of you didn't have this glitch, but some of us are clearly getting it.

I was wondering if there really were glitched orbs here or are people just missing them, but after I started my 100 % orb hunt today I encountered orb glitch at level 3 The Metal Tower! Trip was hacking a security door and there was a single orb beside me. After she opened the door, I looked again, and it was nowhere to be found. I thought if I was missing an orb after finishing the level I'd try to get this one before Trip gets the door hacked and it worked. So if you encounter a glitched orb, put it in your mind and come back second time and grab it immediately and it's yours. Just 12 levels to 100 % left... *phew*

There is no glitch on any chapter, if you struck at 98 or 99% you missed 1 or 2 orbs thats what happen to me after my 1st play then i play the chapter again too look at each location and could finally found them hiding somewhere.
