IGN Ratings for Enslaved (X360).
Rating Description out of 10 Click here for ratings guide 9.0 Presentation Enslaved's story is among the best to grace a game in recent memory, and it never feels at odds with the game itself, which is even more uncommon. 8.5 Graphics Enslaved features great animation and a ton of beautiful color. Unfortunately, graphical glitches and framerate issues rear their heads often. 9.0 Sound Ninja Theory again work with actor Andy Serkis to commision some truly excellent voiceover, and the music is distinctive and memorable. 7.0 Gameplay Enslaved falls apart a bit in the play department, with loose controls and platforming that can occasionally lean toward autopilot. 6.5 Lasting Appeal While Enslaved is a good 10-12 hours long, once it's finished, it's finished, save for some minor collectable cleanup and whatever trophies or achievements you see fit to work toward. 8.0 OVERALL Impressive (out of 10) Enslaved: Journey to the West Review - Xbox 360 Review at IGN Thoughts?

The only way I see this game could have any problems with the controlls is if the rerlease version si diferent from the demo one, cause in the demo the controlls are perfect.
The controlls are not Devil May cry kind of fast (in wich the game responds so fast that it seens to be reacting to your toughts rather tham you pressing the buttons) but theres absolutly no perciveable delay that would force you to adapt so you could deal with it like the review say. I played the demo again after reading the review paying special close atention to how fast or slow Monk would react to my commands to see if there was such a huge delay but couldnt notice any. |

So... It didn't get that score for actually being fun to play? Just to look at? I did get that feeling from the demo. I didn't actually feel like I was playing the game. It felt so drab and lifeless. I guess it carries over into the full game too. I'll still rent it as it seems like an incredibly easy completion ( A review wouldn't alter my decision, anyways ) , plus its only 12 hours long, Why waste your money on something that will last you a week, at the most.
