Default Godlike weapons

Ok, I know it's exploiting a bug, but seeing as I've finished the game (well, say for a few quests I couldn't play because of a freaking bug), I want to try and make those godlike weapons.

I looked up a tutorial online, and found that it just didn't work. My Alchemy is level 50 (didn't use it that much), and I have equipment that enhances my alchemy skills. I just can't seem to make my potions stronger. Do I have to wait for the effect of the fortify restoration to wear off? Or do I have to be lightning fast?

My alchemy enhancing items have 10% extra to any potion I make, I can get it to 13%, but no further. Do I need to take any other perks from the alchemy perk tree? I have the first one, but that's the only one I took.

Any tips? I have downloaded the latest patch, maybe they fixed it, but knowing bethesda, they probably added more bugs into the game, then before

EDIT: Ok, a little pissed off right now, I didn't know you could upgrade the skills even more, wherever you see the 1/5 thing, I didn't know you could get those higher, meaning that the skills that are linked to that, become stronger that way. Turns out with alchemy, that the strength of the potion you make, levels you faster, after using that perk, and getting it to 3/5, I leveld faster in 10 than my girlfriend did in half a day. WTF? Why was there decent tutorial explaining this? Level alchemy is 70 now...

EDIT EDIT: Ok, I found out how to do it, and get it to work, so it still works with the latest patch.

EDITł: To any mod, unless this thread is still usable for other people out there, this can be deleted. For the life if me, I can't seem to find the delete button...

That's good to know it still works with the new patch. I boosted my bow and sword using the exploit to make it more 'realistic' when striking foes (ideally I want them to go down in one/two hits) but I've found since Bethesda have updated the killcams (and their frequency), I've gone back to normal weapons. I never liked the idea of a sword doing like 1000 damage, 100-200 seemed better to me.

Yeah, I just pimped my weapon to a ridiculous level, and accidentally killed shadowmere.

Haha! Lydia was my first accidental victim after experimenting with the damage, gone, but never forgotten.

I must admit though, the temptation to make a Godlike weapon is great. I'd love to have maybe one, to run around and one-hit everything. My Alchemy skill isn't great though, what level is yours? What perks did you take?

My alchemy is level 100. I took the first perk, and then that same first perk again, and then again, so I had 3/5. After that, any potion I made with this bug, just increased my level a lot, I got to level 100 in about 15 min.

I did the same thing a few times, Always reverted to a prior save to get Shadow back. I always had to leave Lydia behind when using super weapons

In case anyone still needs it

Steps on how to increase 3 skills

I have a magic ring that is like 1 million or more I forget.
Weapons in the 17,000+ range iirc.

I found anything over 700 damage in weapons was over kill.

Do you have the Daedric perk in Smithing tree.

I did not have any luck with Daedric weapons in the beginning. don't recall if I tried it later

Other weapons as long as you have the perk for it can be enhanced ludicrous strength ...

You need to drink a strong smithing potion in the 1,000's Percent to increase weapons.
Or have an Uber ring of smithing.

Yes, I have that perk. The sword was legendary status after improving it. I never had any potions

Look at the strength of the weapon on the bottom of the screen.
The popup square that shows the picture of the weapon only displays the first 3 digits of the strength.

without potions or high enchanted smithing items you can not go past a certain value.
