The best cure for excess of dragons is to increase your dragonbane weapon to strength 17,000 and one hit them all. It ends up just being like a fly your swat. and move to next quest.

Also I think it was either 1.03 or 1.04 that messed with the spawn rate.

1.02 not as many , I was actually trying to find them to get my 20 shouts.

This happens to me almost every time I come out of a building in Winterhold. The only reason I haven't tried to farm these things yet is that they're just so damn annoying. Also, the courtyard is pretty much the elephant graveyard from The Lion King at this point. I'll have to take a screenshot somehow the next time I play.

I am constantly running into dragons. I have single handed weapons and light armor at 100 and every time I try to raise something else, I have to switch back because I can't kill the dragons without them. Oh well I guess, it's just making it harder to get past lvl 45.
