This is my 1st Elder Scrolls game and I must say I am impressed! The game is awesome and personally I think it's better than Fallout :P

Yay! I officially started playing ES with Morrowind. Skyrim is amazing considering the long wait after Oblivion. Makes me happy that more gamers are delving into this type of game, we can't just run and gun all the time. A lot of my friends are thinking that this will win the GOTY award hands down

Yah I would be very surprised if it didn't win GOTY. Only other competition I could see would be from Batman Arkahm City.

I put off playing Uncharted 3, ACR and just started Saint's Row 3, but can't see myself getting around to playing any of those for extended periods of time until I finish Skyrim.

Indeed! I put MW3 and BF3 on hold lol because of Skyrim. I do intend to play games when I'm taking a break from ES but it is soooo difficult to pull away from this game. I laud the time, effort and talent the developers poured into it. It just tends to be funny playing it especially when the weather's already so cold lol... adds to the ambience I suppose

Yah let's just say I'm very happy this game can be played completely offline...

Finding it harder and harder to come up with excuses when my friends keep bugging me to play Battlefield 3 and Spec Ops in MW3 everynight.

Very glad to see the community back one of the non-shooters like this. I couldn't get into Fallout 3 despite really wanting to but Skyrim is one of the best games I have played and is more than likely my GOTY at this point.
