The Elder Scolls book.

Anyone know where i can find this book in Skyrim other then the Arcaneum at College of Winterhold?

Alot of books have more copies scattered around Skyrim that's why, and i need this book.

First off, I only answered your second question with a question so saying I 'always' do so is a little farfetched.

Second, it's not even a book. It's an "Elder Scroll". If you

talked to the dragon at all you would know that, where it came from, what it does, etc. unless of course you just skipped through the dialog (which is understandable)

Just follow the quest as it directs and you'll have it in no time.

No. You don't understand. You're assuming things.

I'm having a gamebreaker bug in the quest Elder Knowlegde.
The only way to solve this is to get this book. Don't know for 100% sure is this book is called The Elder Scrolls, but i do know it has the name Elder Scrolls in it.
These 2 aren't it :

- Ruminations of the Elder Scrolls.
- Effects of the Elder Scrolls.

There is also a Display Case in the Arcaneum that holds 4 books. That case can only be opened bij a key. A location of that key wouls be helpfull aswell. The Arcaneum holder doesn't have it on him.

I was assuming because of lack of information on your part. Putting this when you first asked would of made things a whole lot easier...typically if it's a 'gamebreaker' bug then it can't be fixed, hence the term game breaker. I have no clue how to help you with this...hope you get it sorted out

If it's what I'm thinking of, I just asked him and told him I'm a dragonborn and he went and got the books for me. I'd imagine there'd be only one copy of each book since the books are story-related. He grabbed them off a bookshelf if I remember correctly.

I remember fuegly having the book once in my possesion. Unfortunetly i don't recall anything about it anymore.

Urag doesn't give me the needed speakoption and the only way to break it, is to get this book.

I'm seeing that alot of others having this bug aswell, it has something to do with finishing the College of a Winterhold questline en the Septimus Deadra Quest BEFORE doing the Elder Knowlegde quest.
