The little triangle next to equipment is explained in one of the loading screens (it was bugging me too) and it's something to do with the equipment being more suited to your character than what you're currently using. I guess it must check what stats/perks/skills you have?
Only caught a glimpse of the explanation so I might be wrong. |

So how long did take some of us to find out that the carriage outside of Whiterun Stables can actually take you to any of the major cities in the game?
Me? About five minutes ago...

Well, don't get me wrong, I love exploring, but it's such a huge relief knowing that I can take the carriage ANYWHERE. Saves so much time and trouble.

Well, there's still regular fast travel (through the map), but the carriage system works a lot like the system in Red Dead Redemption. You pay a bit of gold, and the carriage can take you to any major city in Skyrim.

Okay, this is driving me nuts. I'm a few Smithing levels away from getting the Advanced Armors perk, but it's just a pain in the ass buying/mining ores/ingots just to make a few pieces of armor/some random trinkets.
Does anyone know where a trainer for Smithing is? Preferably a high-level trainer?
