Grind, Grind, Grind.....

Wow what a grind... i played for almost a week straight & still didn't get all the weapons for a single armor.... i got to 82% though lol..... just wanted to know how many of you gave up on this & how many of you are STILL grinding....

Still grinding

Will be for a while. I only play a little each day but I'm in no rush. Game is fun and even more fun with friends so getting to play with them has made the grind entertaining.

I just can't believe the amount of points needed between each armor level...I've played through the entire campaign twice and still haven't reached level 7 armor (and its even for my first armor set!)...I can't believe I'm going to have to do it for three other armor sets...Not to mention, I only have about 1500 spider kills

Been at this for weeks and all the fun is gone. Still need 6500 gunship kills, 400 survival rounds to go, 3000 spider kills, and the worst part is, after maxing out all armors, you will still have to grind credits to buy all the weapons.

Yeah, same is happening to me and the friends I play with. Instead we just turn on the PC and start playing Killing Floor instead. I'll likely this in three weeks or so, whenever I get around to it. Only have 1 1/2 more armors to go, so it's not too bad... just boring as feckin' hell. I usually just turn on a movie on my PC for background when I'm playing it so it doesn't feel too drudgerific when I play solo.

Anybody reading this, don't get the game. It has an initial fun factor that is gone before you know it.

It wouldn't be as bad if
1) There were more than 15 levels
2) Tier 6 got decent weapons for Inferno difficulty
3) Ops' voice wasn't so f***ing annoying
4) You got some experience in survival mode (there's really no sense of acomplishment while playing it)

so has any1 actually finished this plat yet? ive put so much time into it and feel like im close but my god am i tired of hearing bugs squishing and if some1 can tell me that theyve finished it maybe you can give me hope thats its possible without shooting myself in the balls

working on war bug at the moment, only need another 4 million credits :/, than smooth sailing from their, at 350 survival games and 8k survival kills. this is like a 150-200 hour plat average game i assume.

ive got 1 more armor to go but i havnt even started survival yet only 17 waves completed how long do you think the 500 waves should take?

Luckily I haven't played the game too much yet to have lost all it's fun factor. I can feel it going away slowly, however. I'll get the Platinum eventualy - in a year or so LOL! As of right now I have all Armors at level 4. Slowly leveling them all up.

After you complete about 50, you'll think to yourself "Oh, that wasn't that bad - this will be done in no time!" Then you'll grind for hours and hours and recheck your stats - you'll have 52.

LOL nah it's not that bad, but it can get a bit dull. I agree with that one guy, we should get experience from Survival as some sort of incentive.
