Do I miss anything from not buying any DLC of the original DW7?

I only bought like the 3 first DLC and the stages bored me and they cost a lot, so I was not intrigued to buy more as soon as they are released...

I bought DW7: Xtreme but I have yet to start it since I had many games before to finish first and I am almost done now.

Im not sure, I am going to download the JP voice and see. I don't have my DW7 disc anymore so we'll see.

Rikuson1 pointed out to me that the DW7XL disc comes with the japanese voices standard - I had originally thought it was the ones I downloaded that gave me that option. There's no need to download the ones for DW7. If you remix your game with the DW7 disc, the Japanese voices will carry back into the DW7 story/conquest mode as well.

However, he also mentioned that music he bought didn't carry over.

All DLC weapons do carry over, although they dont have Chaos/Nightmare versions f them so they become obsolete pretty fast.

I found many of teh DLC weapons to be quite valuable until i got certain weapons unlocked in XL. Specficially the Bombs and Giant Axe are very handy weapons. Especially in DW7. Great crowd control and combos.

They recently release a joke (Christmas themed) weapon skin pack that included nightmare strength versions of the all the weapons including the DLC weapons If you've already brought them so they become useful again if your willing to spend a little more.

yeah pike = hockey stick. certainly helped in obtaining the actual nightmare weapons for me

I do not see any such DLC... Is it a JP one that has not come out here yet? Cant be a DW7 one, as there is no nightmare difficulty or level weapons of that type in that game. In DW7XL i have both of the existing weapon packs.

DO NOT BUY WEAPON PACK 1. it is a total rip off. Gives you a bunch of tier 2 weapons, and only 3 wepaons types. What teh hell do i want with tier 2 weapons when ineed to play nightmare more with top tier weapons??? OMG, what a waste. And $2.99 for only 5 low class weapons??? Damn i wish i could refund that one. Bad choice and worst weapon dlc ever released for DW. SHAME ON YOU KOEI!!!!

Weapon pack 2 gives you about chaos level strength weapons in joke format for teh new weapons to XL... Still nothing for teh DLC weapons though. This pack was worth it. Near top tier weapons, with full skills slots and cool skins. 5 in total for less than a buck. Definitely worth it if you like the new weapons at all.


EDIT: I see it now. it is the last weapon pack for DW7 that was releassed in January with 41 weapons in it. All xmas or fun themed, and indeed nightmare quality strength. Great DLC for only $2. HIGHLY recommended.

I can also confirm that even if you have already made your DW7XL save from DW7 data, if you buy teh weapon DLC packs for DW7 (not XL), the weapons do become instantly avaiable in your current XL game. In DW7 you would still need to play Conquest mode and unlock them, but in XL they are immediatley available to use.
