Levelling up

Any idea how long it takes to get to level 10? This is using the method in the guide (just playing mercenaries).

I guess i have the solution, DON'T FOLLOW WHAT IT SAYS IN THE GUIDE BY PLAYING MERCENARY BATTLES! You will definitely be playing for a hell of alot more hours by doing that. Read my following post and it should help:

Just join an army with one piece of land at the very beginning of the scenario. Then as you sim each month you will be gaining points towards your character. Sometimes there will be a council and i think when 'military' comes up you also get points towards your character levelling up. If your one piece of land gets taken then just find another army with only a few pieces of land

I done this method and towards the end of my scenario my character was at lvl 43 with four lvl 50 friends.

You can also use a lvl 50 character in your final battle to earn your trophy

Yea, don't play mercenary battles for XP, they are mainly just for gaining friends/triggering certain events like a marraige e.t.c.

Play the normal levels, you get xp for every 100 kills up to a maximum of 1000 KO. So make sure you kill 1000 people per level and kill any officers in your path as they drop xp pouches most of the time. Do this and you will get to level 50 pretty quick.

You don't need to do any battles except for the very last one to 'defect'. You may have to do a few to help with unlocking some stuff in the archives.

Ok... im doing something wrong. I started a campaign joined a single region and keep skipping, but im gaining shit. I tryed joining the command and now i get money as well, but i have no idea about rank or anything :S

Wow im only level 6 and im more then half way through my campaign. I sure im not doing something right here. Also i keep getting my 1 land taken over forcing me to move :S
