Lady Killer 3 floating boss with pigcop

Is there a way (trick) to beat the floating boss & pigcops at the end of Lady Killer 3 on Insane?

Quickly kill the pig cops. Toss a tripwire bombs on the Assault Commander, wait until it explodes (hopefully not near you), then toss another. Repeat until it dies.

Also, shoot it with whatever other weapons you have to speed up the process.

Get in full cover almost 100% of the time, when open let fly with those rocket launchers.

Use the other weapon (regular weapon) on pigcops.
