I got this game brand new for 5 bucks a few weeks ago! I thought it wasn't going to be very good from the 1 or 2 reviews I saw. So I didn't even play it until yesterday. I have to say from where I am at so far the game is actually pretty fun.

I haven't tried out the multiplayer yet, but I would have to agree with you about the reviews. It might not be the greatest game ever but it is definitely worth checking out for the price. It was well worth 5 dollars that's for sure!

I'm always of this current of though: if you like the game, bad or good it is, play it. Don't listen to reviews, most of the time they just overpraise games like CoD (we always end up here) and company.

I never played Duke Nukem before, when I found out about this game took 15 years of development, I was overhelmed by my morbid curiosity to check this game out, and I was amazed, because it's a good refresh from "modern FPS formula". I tried the demo on 360 and PS3, ended up to buy the game on PS3.

Enjoyed every minute of it: the comebacks, the crazy level design, the weapons and all the good humour made me to completely forgive about Skyrim, Just Cause 2 and other games to play DNF. Who cares about the arcaic graphic? I must give kudos to Gearbox that I can see Duke's feet instead of a floating body like most FPS.

Fun trophy list, challenging insane difficulty (no cheat used, not even freeze ray) and, overall, many amusing parts. I think everyone should just play like it's a game stuck in the past, and it's hella better than most of the games today.

The game is stupid, I hated every second of it. Only DLC remaining since I want to 100% all games.

Game mechanics is dumb
1 - sniper rifle sucks
2 - you kill enemies much faster than with guns than machine guns and bazookas
3 - Air hokey is BS, the controls were really bad
4 - some battles were much easier than others
5 - $9.99 for the DLC which has only 12 bronze!!!

Looking back that the bad review helps me realize that if something cuts something down, it's good to look into because often we decide otherwise. Really thought this was an entertaining game.
