Need help starting Blast From The Past challenge.

I got the Delorean DMC-12 (though, I got it from Smash Activity I, not Sprint). The trophy guide here says

Problem is, I have been driving it at 88 miles and hour and higher, but no challenge has unlocked. I know it is supposed to be in the garage, under "special", but it has yet to unlock. Do I have to be in a specific place or something?
I have been repeatedly starting, getting to 88 and over, the stopping and doing it again, but have gotten nothing.

I think you have to try and stay at 88mph, that's what I remember doing.

I apologise for the miscommunication but it has now been changed. Thank you for pointing that out. About your problem though, I have no idea. The challenge doesn't register straight away but you said you did it for an hour so it shouldn't be glitched that badly. The only thing I can recommend is to delete your game data and then reinstall and update it then try to unlock the challenge again.

I didn't say I was trying to an hour, did I? If so, I meant to say that it felt like an hour. I finally got the thing (after going over a jump at 100mph, oddly enough). The challenge itself was a pain in the butt (that 180 turn just would not work for me), but I finally managed to get it.

Im glad I got this game done when I did.... I have NO interest in EVER playing this game again
